Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Spark Eighteen Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is a one-stop destination for all of your brand’s technology, marketing, and design solutions. Aayush Narang is the founder and CEO of the company.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
Founded in 2012, Spark Eighteen is a brainchild of innovative young minds. Slowly and steadily it has made a mark for itself in this overly competitive market. We are unique in the way we manage our assignments through expertise and customize them following the client’s philosophy.

At Spark Eighteen, we credit our strength and endurance to our creative approach in managing our business, and to the character of our people as we go further on the journey of making this an organization that holds a promise to revolutionize industries and to turn problem-solving ideas into reality. We continue to search the right associates that believe in our philosophy of digital and data.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have in-house team. However, if required, we do utilize third party vendor services from time to time.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Owing to our in-house capabilities, our turnaround time is quicker than most and we’re able to handle end to end digital requirements, giving our clients value for their money and a hassle-free experience.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We cater to a vast variety of industries, ranging from FMCG, Technology and eCommerce, to name a few.

How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
This can be completely answered if the complexity of the project is known. However in most cases, it requires 4-5 sprints for front end development and 5-6 sprints in back end development with each sprint being about 2 weeks long.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
Most important parameter is if the dashboard will be for internal or public use. In most cases react is the best platform for backend development since it’s a new technology and is lighter to leverage.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in the development of your web apps?
Mostly react and angular for backend development and node.js for front end development.
Do you offer website design templates or customized website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We do all kinds of website design, including responsive web designs, template-based designs, and custom web designs.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc)?
We choose CMS based on the client’s requirements. For instance, if the client wants to maintain the website by themselves post the development process, we go for more uncomplicated CMS such as WordPress as it’s easy to use and understand. However, we do not limit ourselves to any CMS and let it be chosen based on functions and design.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes, we offer retainer services for website maintenance.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
The time required for development, the team/tech stack needed for the project, technologies being used and third-party integrations.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
We offer Fixed cost feature based on the requirements and revise the cost basis any new request/additions that are made from the client’s end.
Do you take in projects which meet your essential budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We do have minimum packages for developing websites and the minimum budget required is INR 75,000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
Min- INR 1,00,000 and Max- INR 4,50,000.
