Helpers is an iOS and Android mobile application that provides a free local safety net – a community of “Trusted” locals who are always nearby when you need them.

Verified Planet is a medical device startup that provides full lab security & quality assurance management solutions based on a provisional patent invention.

The process of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is very delicate. Sample mix-ups and misplacements can occur. Verified Planet needed a solution that involved tagging container samples, patients and authorized personnel to keep every IVF cycle closed, managed and verified using a specialized device to open and close containers, as well as scanning personnel and patient tags.

THE CHALLENGE

IQID needed a proactive team to help them take the app to the next level. Since the IQID profile includes not only personal information but also sensitive financial information, working with a highly experienced and trustworthy team of developers was essential.

We integrated new core features such as geolocation, business card and employee ID generation for user registration, new login services, push notifications, updates to pre-existing functionalities, social network verification process, "user update" workflows, and an email verification service.

Groupi is a web application that enhances and captures group learning experiences while helping students and teachers to maintain a constant communication link.

The application was created to engage students during courses with interactive tasks and evaluations allowing professors to check their students accomplishments and present their results in real-time all on a single page.

Students can search for class materials and ask questions after class when needed.  The application creates a summary of every class including charts, abstracts, and media.

THE CHALLENGE

It’s proven that if the student enjoys the learning process, the ability to retain new information will be enhanced. To create an innovative, engaging experience for students, Groupi needed a web app that would facilitate interactions in real time.

They wanted to establish a constant communication link and provide a tool for both, teachers and students, to get a summary on how the course is going. This would involve a large amount of data for the app to manage.

WHAT WE DID

With our vast experience managing web and mobile applications with dynamic content, we created not only an application capable of swapping and modifying elements but also a powerful backend system designed to store thousands of files and grow when needed. This was all achieved using the Amazon architecture system and Python/Django.

We took on the challenge and managed the different parts of the project and met the desired schedule using Agile methodology. By delivering weekly releases, we could get the most out of the client’s constant feedback and guarantee the project’s success. Regarding scalability, we made use of asynchronous processing of key features of the app allowing the infrastructure to resize itself on high/low demand and improve latency times.
