Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Asap developers is a mobile app development company. We are experts in cross-platform frameworks like React, Native and use agile methodologies to deliver outstanding mobile apps. Our clients range from small startups to large corporations such as Google. Most of our clients are from California, particularly from San Francisco or the Bay Area. We love working with startups and entrepreneurs that want to create amazing products.

I'm the Co-founder and CEO of the company. My mission is to build a great team and encourage innovation within our company. Moreover, I like to meet all of our clients and help them succeed in their projects and business.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We started asap developers over ten years ago to provide our clients with the best possible talent. We could see that the average development company wasn't giving top-quality services, so we created the company in order to hire the most talented developers and provide exceptional software development services. Through continuous learning, agile methodologies, and the early adoption of new technologies, we provide high-quality services to our clients.
What is your company's business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We do everything in-house. We deliver end-to-end solutions: we design, develop, test, and manage all our projects. We believe our team is our most important asset.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our business model is based on delivering cost-effective and high-quality development services to our clients. We have a local presence in San Francisco, and our team works in the same time zone in Uruguay. This means we provide our clients with the best of both worlds: great communication and low costs.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We work with clients from all industries. We have experience in e-commerce, education, financial services, health services, real estate, and wellness. We have many repeat customers that love to work with us.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
The project time frame depends on many factors, for example, the requirements, scope, complexity, team, etc. When we start a new project, we provide an estimate with the information we have and create a project plan that we discuss with our client. All of this is very important to set the right expectations and deliver the best possible product.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
The amount of effort that goes into developing the front-end and back-end of an app completely depends on the requirements of the web application. Small web app projects take a couple of weeks, and large web app projects could take several months. Usually, the front-end needs more time than the back-end.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
The right platform depends on the users and the goal of your web app. Each platform has its benefits and limitations. However, we mainly focus on React to web applications.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in the development of your web apps?
We like to work with React for the front-end and Node.js or Python for the back-end. We host most of our projects in Amazon Web Services.
Do you offer website design templates or customized website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We deliver customized website design, and all of our websites are responsive. Responsive website design is a must in any web app development project.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)?
We try to avoid content management systems based on PHP, but we have worked with many CM systems, including Wordpress and Netlify.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes, we provide our clients with all the help they may need before, during, and after the creation of their website.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
We consider the functional requirements, the non-functional requirements, the number of users, the user interface design, and third parties integrations. We estimate the project, and we plan the design, development, testing, and deployment tasks.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
In most of our projects, we work with a time and materials model, which is recommended for the projects where a client needs flexibility and being able to manage risks on the day-to-day.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We don't have minimum requirements because we love to help startups with their products.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
The smallest project was around USD 10.000, and the largest project was around USD 100.000.
