Avivi is an international development company that specializes in Bitrix24 CRM integration and customization of any type and complexity. Additionally, our team has vast experience in Bitrix CMS implementation (mainly corporate websites and e-commerce solutions).

My function as a CEO is to ensure internal operations are coordinated, and the team composition corresponds to the demands of the market. The cost and quality of the product we deliver are regulated and supervised by me, as well.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
Over the years, our mission has gone through adjustments in the process, and currently, our primary focus is empowering clients to increase the efficiency of their business. It is achieved by providing customers with various workflow optimization tools and training.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have one of the biggest development teams on the Bitrix24 / Bitrix CMS market consisting of 35 exclusively in-house specialists.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Since our team has extensive experience in this niche, over the years, we’ve managed to accumulate a large number of various custom applications and modules that are available for purchase at hand. Our client base consists of customers from 27 countries all over the world. Industries that turn to us for services vary a lot. It can be anything from educational and healthcare institutions, real estate and mortgage brokers, banking organizations, logistics companies, and shipping providers, e-commerce businesses, furniture manufacturers to start-ups and small privately-owned companies or individuals.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing software.
Parameters that affect delivery time on our side are handled by project managers, and their work is to ensure software requirements are compiled properly, deadlines are set, and the team is coordinated using the most suitable methodology for any given project.
Customer involvement and communication with stakeholders play an important role in setting up a time frame for implementation as well.
On average, time frames for delivery can deviate between 1 week to 6 months and more based on the project estimate and the amount of time required for resource allocation.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of software?
It depends on the platform we’re building a solution for. Bitrix CMS based landing pages and corporate websites can take up from 50 to 100 development hours. E-commerce stores from scratch require more time - up to 500 hours on average. The implementation of custom modules and applications for the Bitrix24 platform usually varies from 30 to 100 development hours. However, in some cases, Bitrix24 projects depend upon third-party services integration and might take even more than 200 development hours to carry out.

Bitrix CMS is a powerful framework that can satisfy the needs of practically any business or company.

There are many types of services that we offer for purchase. One of them is license and system updates. Avivi solved a common problem with SMTP for Business Development at Disability Credit Canada, Inc. 

"I hired a company to install on-premise Bitrix24. We had an issue with the outgoing emails as they were going to spam. We wanted to use an external SMTP server to deliver the emails but it was not available on the "on-premise" installation. Avivi was recommended by my programmers. they said they used them before successfully. I reached out to Avivi and asked them to install a specific SMTP module on my on-premise Bitrix24 so that we can use a specific SMTP server to send emails. So what was the general problem? Users of on-premise edition may notice that at the beginning of work or after moving from the cloud service, they are unable to connect their own mailbox to Bitrix24. In the Cloud Portal, this is done without a great deal of difficulty. In fact, no problems exist here: the thing is that SMTP protocols work differently in the cloud and on-premise.

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is responsible for receiving and sending any messages in Bitrix24. These include not only emails, but also employee invitations, notifications, and more. In the cloud service, Bitrix24 SMTP server is configured for a wide range of users and allows you to connect any mailbox with any domain name to the portal.

On-premise edition of SMTP is another story, however. This is exclusively your server, not a cloud one. Therefore, you need to configure it in accordance with your company’s needs. Initially, the server is configured under the domain name of the mail to which the Portal is being registered. For example, if this is a gmail.com account, you will be able to connect other mailboxes of this service to the Portal. However, you won’t be able to use a mailbox on yahoo.com, or any other domain, without additional settings. So, you will first need to configure the SMTP server.

Avivi developers have created a special module that allows you to pump SMTP for any Bitrix24 on-premise edition. Thanks to this module, the users will no longer need to configure the server for each new domain name — the module does everything by itself and allows you to connect an unlimited number of any mail services to the portal. It should be noted that this is not a customization of Bitrix24 kernel, so the module does not violate the system security. Moreover, it works even after the on-premise edition updates. To effectively monitor the projects progress, the company needed special functionality in Bitrix24, which could display the overall progress based on the internal assessment system of each task importance. The task could not be achieved to precisely match the terms of reference by the standard functionality of the system.

To fully implement the task to exactly match the logic of the processes and requirements, it was necessary to create an interface application for Cloud Bitrix24. Additional features have added two custom fields to the tasks for the staff to fill in the necessary criteria. Based on this information, a visualization of the project's progress was displayed in a dedicated Project Progress application installed on the client's server. To create the interface, Avivi specialists used Bootstrap 4.

The application displays information about the company's projects progress in exact compliance with the established requirements and allows you to:

Assign one of the three possible levels of importance to each task, and also indicate the value of this task for the entire project in percentage terms in order to systematize data on the project readiness status;

  • Displays the status of each individual project in the course of completing tasks in it in the form of a progress bar — a scale of filling in completeness depending on the number, level and value of closed tasks;
  • Shows all projects in a single slider window, and also allows you to view the list of tasks and edit them in a separate browser tab.
  • To effectively monitor the projects progress, the company needed special functionality in Bitrix24, which could display the overall progress based on the internal assessment system of each task importance. Initially, the client asked our company to add a group edit mode to the list item output page, because in standard functionality, group edit mode and actions are only available for CRM entities and do not work with all field types. Our team has implemented the editing functionality of the custom fields by significantly refining the Bitrix24 List display component. This allowed for group editing of fields of the following types:

  1. Multiple fields (List, Date, Line, Number, Money);

  2. Binding to CRM elements;

  3. Checkbox ( “Yes/No” List);

  4. Users’ fields “Date” and “Date/Time”;

  5. Drop-down list for custom fields;

  6. Fields for comments like textarea.

After the work completing, Onyx Telecom has the exclusive ability to massively change values ​​in all required fields. However, the project with Avivi allowed to solve not only this task:

  • The group editing functionality is available in any place where list items are displayed, namely: in the special tab of the entity card for which there is a binding. This means that users do not need to deliberately go to the list section to change the values ​​of the element fields: right from the CRM card, you can edit any desired field of one or more list elements with a single action;
  • Avivi team has equipped the upgraded component with a handler that is able to write editable data in the correct formats depending on the type of the field.

The creation of B2C service for interaction between the client and the company "Velox":

  • The service should be simple for the user;

  • The possibility of buying goods in online stores of the USA independently or the commission of this process to the company "Velox" should be taken into account in the personal cabinet;

  • Tracking options, linking orders for co-mailing, cost calculation should be considered.

To fulfill the tasks of the customer, three separate directions were created, which together provide the fulfillment of all the processes:

  • Veloxbox – the service of "B2C" type, which provides interaction with the client;

  • Veloxhub – a service for the internal work of the company from receiving a parcel to the USA before arriving at the final destination;

  • Velox API – software for correct data exchange between services and third-party platforms.

To suppress peak loads, the system RabbitMQ was applied to the system. This allows to stabilize significantly the operation of services with numerous requests of users and the active movement of data about the packages.

  • The time for processing orders was reduced, the customers received a modern and convenient way of ordering and tracking goods;
  • The tools for parcels routing, tracking and recognizing have appeared for the company's employees, if at any stage an error or failure has occurred;
  • Velox API is responsible for data exchange between the software components of the Velox project, as well as third-party platforms. The solutions created on PHP are imperceptible neither for users, nor for employees of the company. But they play the main role in the functioning of the whole system.

The Five Star Claims Adjusting Company is a major player in the insurance recovery market. The main goal of the company is to defend the interests of its clients before the insurance companies. To do this, free third-party contractors, who represent the interests of clients in various insurance disputes, are involved. Over the years, the company helped to recover hundreds of millions of dollars. The company owns the self-hosted version of Bitrix24, for which the expanded functionality of the extranet group Contractor Portal was developed.

For the customer, it was important to ensure the access of third-party contractors to the “Lead” entity of their CRM with certain restrictions and conditions. The main "pain" of Five Star Claims Adjusting was the need to simultaneously participate in the work process of a large number of contactors, which is constantly increasing. The main tasks looked like this:

  • To make the access to the lead cards in CRM possible for a contractor without the right to edit information;

  • To configure the portal interface in a certain way to conveniently display the necessary information;

  • To remove the possibility of communication between contractors to eliminate a competition.

The solution for the customer was the development of the extension of the extranet-group functionality, which allowed to fulfill all the requirements for the technical task. This solution is only available for one specific extranet group – the “Contractor Portal”. At the same time, the ability to create other extranet groups and to use the standard Bitrix24 functionality is not lost.

Upon completion of the project, the client company received the use of an improved portal Bitrix24, the functionality of which allowed them to follow the set goals with ease for administrators and without additional costs:

  • he extranet group functionality was customized in accordance with customer requirements, the process of inviting contractors from an extranet to the customer portal has been improved;
  • The appearance of the portal pages was changed in accordance with the branding of Five Star Claims Adjusting, the ability of contractors to search for their colleagues was disabled, the changes in lead status, updates to change the person in charge were added in the timeline;
  • The display processes of Bitrix24 leads for the contractor was customized: it can be available only after approval by the administrator and subject to two conditions of contractor compliance.

That is why Life Division Ltd chose the self-hosted version of Bitrix24.

The main task for Avivi was the integration of the self-hosted version of Bitrix24 in accordance with the specifications of the technical task. This included:

  • Making of fields, entities, possibilities of cloning and unification of cases or leads in Bitrix24;

  • Custom completion of the self-hosted version functionality and approximation of the Bitrix24 user interface to Salesforce for the convenience of staff;

  • Setting up the processes related to processing emails and telephony.

The specialists of our company were given a clear task to maximize the similarity of processes with similar actions in Salesforce. This caused certain difficulties, because in the two CRM systems some entities (for example, “Lead”) are similar, but have important program differences. To accomplish this task, it was necessary not only to change the interface, but a deep customization of key processes. The customer company used Cisco telephone equipment and SIP-connector. In order to ensure communication through Bitrix24, it was necessary to think out and implement an algorithm for the interaction of all components with each other.

According to the wishes of Life Division Ltd, for the convenience of managers, we added the quick links to various sections: “Leads”, “Call-center”, “Closed deals” and “VIP clients”:

  • The customization the “Lead” entity in Bitrix24 brought the work with it closer to a similar process in Salesforce. In order to avoid re-creating leads from emails, our employees implemented an algorithm for сombining letters from one lead from different branches of correspondence;
  • Our developers have created a custom process that allows the manager to select files from the incoming letter that are automatically attached to the lead. Files not marked by the manager remain in the letter, but are not transferred to the lead. In addition, the manager can assign files their own names (for example, "Scan Passport", etc.);
  • After the completion, the “Description” field changed its appearance. Now it is displayed in html format and looks like a music player that allows you to listen to the recordings of phone calls.Thanks to the work done in the self-hosted version of Bitrix24 of Life Division Ltd, it became possible to tie together phone call records with entities “Lead” and “Contact”. And the same call can be tied to an unlimited number of entities.

The history of wine production in the Transcarpathian region begins in the XV century. The modern enterprise Chateau Chizay owns its own vineyards of 272 hectares, produces a premium collection of aged wines, expanding the palette with white varieties. In 2018, the Chateau Chizay Academy educational project began, the goal of which is to develop the brand, flourish winemaking in the region and popularize tasting tours. For the full development of the idea, an effective CRM system was needed.

Before the start of the collaboration, the staff of Chateau Chizay already had a thoughtful model of the work of the future CRM. Initially, the customer focused on the cloud version Bitrix24, but in the process of setting up the software, the advantages of the on-premise version became obvious. Avivi company developers were faced with the following tasks:

  • Transfer data from the cloud version of Bitrix24 to the on-premise version;

  • Customize the entity "Contact" in accordance with the requirements of the customer;

  • Solve the issue with the ability to select multiple languages in the on-premise portal.

Thanks to the operational actions of our company's managers, the client was provided with the most favorable conditions for moving from the “cloud” to the “on-premise”. Thanks to the close cooperation with technical support Bitrix24, the deployment of backup on the client's server was successful. Our experts have set up open lines and widget for the site chizay.com. Particular attention was paid to the Facebook social network, on which the customer placed special bets in promotion.

  • We have set up open Facebook and Instagram lines. Now you can write both in live chat and in Messenger or direct to company in the standard widget on the Chateau Chizay website. We have created the ability to also “pull up” comments to posts on Facebook;
  • An important improvement was the customization of the entity “Contact”. It was necessary for the customer to label the leads in the direction of their interest: products, tourism, etc. Now, when creating a new contact or editing an existing one, this direction can be added and, accordingly, all existing contacts can be filtered by it.

Cavadian Properties is a North American company from the city of Dallas, which is engaged in the purchase of real estate. The company values the time of its customers and tries to prepare any commercial offer in less than 24 hours. With this tempo of work and the flow of customers, each of them is worth its weight in gold. It is important for the company to respond to people's requests in a timely manner, as well as to remember the needs of each client.

The customer company is new in using of Bitrix24 and CRM in general. The main task with which they applied to Avivi was: “To save employees from monotonous paperwork.” During the evaluation of the project, taking into account the specifics of the agency, the amount of information and methods of communication with clients, two main areas of work were outlined together:

  • To automate the process of obtaining and distributing leads in CRM;

  • To create the ability to autocomplete e-mail templates with offers to customers.

Our managers have integrated a corporate email for Cavadian Properties. Now, to send offers to customers, agency staff uses a special email template created in Avivi. It is able to pull out photos of the desired properties from the CRM in just a few clicks.

As a result of the completed project, the Cavadian Properties realtor agency received a powerful and effective tool for developing its business — Bitrix24 CRM. After appropriate configuration and refinement of the functionality, the customer was satisfied and has received:

  1. Convenient CRM, capable of processing and distributing incoming calls depending on the category of lead (buyer or partner);
  2. Automated control system for the implementation of tasks, promotion of the lead on statuses from the moment of getting into CRM and until the conclusion of a transaction using robots;
  3. Customized and modified e-mail functionality that allows you to attach the desired images of the property (product) to the proposals for customers.

The Zooz online platform provides cash payment services for retailers around the world. The content of the website using WordPress, so Avivi made an integration with Bitrix24 in a “live” system using Git. We developed the process of a credit card information validation using two currencies: USD and ILS. For ILS cards, another validation algorithm process was created, since the processing of this currency through the Luhn algorithm was impossible. While working on the project, we developed a notification system to inform managers about the status of payments with an option to Confirm/Reject certain orders. We also provided a conversion of leads into Contacts, Transactions, and Bills after successful payments. Now the system can:

  • Sales managers monitor new actions on the website and immediately respond to all payments and website processes;
  • Screen tips help employees get used to the new website functionality faster;
  • The notification functionality helps managers monitor employees’ work.

Working with Avivi has been nothing short of fantastic! My company was in need of setting up our new program and customizing it the way we needed. Not only did they help us get our original idea launched, both on time and within budget but we simultaneously began building out a variation of the original platform to meet demands from a new customer base. This is not your “normal” developer company, I’ve only seen them operate with a high level of integrity and have always had our best interest in mind - not inflating the development costs. We started working with Avivi more then a year ago and so far i can tell it was a good choice.

All started when we had to migrate from Salesforce to Bitrix24. So we started to communicate with like 20 of Bitrix software integrator to search for the best one. As we needed not a normal bitrix integration but a migration from Salesforce with all of our 'custom' processes - at end only half gave back some feedback on our task email and after deep discussing only 5 were able to say that they can make things working but aside that Avivi had the most professional technical report about what we need to do before we migrate, they splitted main task upon smaller sprints set up time lines we discussed financial plan and started the work.

Right now we are still using there services in Bitrix development on support basis and we are using Bitrix as our main system.

Review Summary

We hired Avivi to develop functionality for quickly creating additional pages on our Bitrix CMS site without involving programmers. We also needed to amend the previous site design. Avivi was recommended by previous contractors who developed our website but could not fulfill the new task. Our former vendors said Avivi was a specialist in their field.
