The Challenge
"Find You" was an in-house project where the task was to build a full eCommerce website with all the typical functionality, built from scratch without the use of any of the standard platforms in this space such as Shopify, Wix and Magento. Our aim was to show how such a website can look and feel, and that it can work just as well as the more established solutions, with the added bonus of providing much more flexibility in the design, user experience and functionality.
The Process
Part of our team played the role of a mock customer, while another part had the task of implementation. Our "client" turned out to be quite demanding and specific in their design requirements and insistent on certain functional details. Nevertheless, they seemed to form a good connection with our development team and communication went smoothly. We had one designer and two developers using Node Js + React Js work on the application and it was complete in five weeks.
The Results
We now have a practically complete online retail website to serve as a template for clients looking for a more unique design and feel compared to using large eCommerce platforms for development. The site is full with shopping cart functionality, product favorites page, purchase history and a panel giving admins the ability to update product images, stock amounts and more.

The Challenge
Our client, Smart Design 2006, is an engineering company in the maritime and power plant industries. In our work together, we had previously developed for them a time management system, and with this project we added a chat service which was integrated with the management app.
The chat had to be business-oriented, with the ability to divide a group into channels for different departments, tasks and any other level of internal segmentation. Most importantly, our client required a solution which could be hosted on their own private server.
The Process
Sitting down with our clients, we established the key features which were to make up the minimum viable product. We constructed a user flow diagram which was approved. Our designer then gave the schematics life with a design, later revised until the client was completely satisfied. In the end we settled for a clear and functional design, in tune with the engineering nature of our client.
The Results
The end result was an intuitive, business-oriented chat app, integrated with our client's time management service, which was also developed by Branerie. Smart Design are now making use of the app with all of the history stored on their own server, giving them security about their own data.

The Challenge
Smart Design 2006, is an engineering company working in the maritime and power plant industries. They contacted us needing a custom time management system to fulfill their specific operational needs. What they had in mind was a tool with which their managers could easily view task progress and control individual employee workload, while for the engineering team, the tool had to provide information about current assignments. While our client had used similar apps which are available on the market, they had decided on building a custom solution with a view to further integration with additional tools in the future, for an experience more fine-tuned with the requirements of projects in their area of expertise.
The Process
We started by analyzing several available products with similar functionalty together with a representative from our client. We gradually settled on several features which were considered essential and would make up the minimum viable product. Key components included a Table-style view of tasks, personalized task list for staff and notifications upon job assignment.
After our designer had settled on a concept with the client, we assigned two of our developers to work on the MVP. Since the initial product was built, another two developers joined the team and we added several additional features following feedback. Examples include a Kanban style view and per-task file attachments.
We created the entire solution internally, starting from the design, prototyping and agreeing on final structure, going through the development of the app architecture and its implementation. We used React + Node js, while testing was done using React Testing Library, Jest and Cypress.
The Results
We successfully fulfilled all the requirements set by Smart Design and the tool is now being used daily by their employees on new projects. Since then, we have also developed a chat app to complement the time-management app and are in the process of adding a task reporting service for them, with the MVP for this product already completed.

The Challenge
DIMP, our client, is a company that delves in a variety of fields. More specifically, our work with them involved their operations in the Hospitality sector. They maintain and offer for rent several apartments in Bulgaria. While they had an existing website, as they have been in the business for a long time now, they felt it was now outdated and wanted a brand new solution with a modern look.
The Process
Our initial discussion revolved around their existing design - what DIMP wanted to keep and what absolutely had to change. We established the core functionality which the new website had to keep and, after suggestions by our team, added a couple of tweaks to improve the experience of users, but also the usefulness for DIMP. For example, we convinced them to add an admin panel to allow their staff to easily update the information on the website. Another feature we added was a more complete booking form, which allows DIMP to gather maximum information about their potential customers' intentions and preferences beforehand, decreasing the average time before a deal is concluded.
The Results
Our client now has a modern website, in tune with current standards. They can update content and pricing at any time and have seen an increased involvement, with traffic up by more than 30% since the new website was launched.

The Challenge
Our client is an eCommerce company, focusing on clothing and apparel for industrial workers. They are a new business and had recently started selling their first products across Europe on some of the big retail websites such as Amazon. They needed a webpage to showcase their designs, state their values to their customers and increase their presence on the web.
The Process
Toby Apparel already had a relatively detailed idea about what they wanted to have on their webpage. They had most of the text ready, a logo with a distinctive shape and a preferred color palette to match their products. From then on, our designer simply assembled their vision and ideas into a prototype which was approved with minimal revision. One of our developers then implemented and tested the design using Next Js.
The Results
Toby now have a new home on the web which emanates their values and principles. While the website is currently simply informative, they have expressed a desire to add online shopping functionality once they manage to increase their production to the required level to support it.
