Developing a New Hub for One of the Largest Festivals in the Nation
Essence, one of the leading magazines for African American women, had recently gone independent, and they needed to revamp their old festival website. They wanted to improve user experience while making the site easier to maintain for their internal team.
CemtrexLabs’ team developed and designed the user interface and user experiential design based off of the brainstorming sessions with the Essence team. The festival’s homepage, along with a number of key subpages, were reworked according to their specific type of function.
An important priority for the team was to empower the Essence team to manage the site autonomously. We equipped them with a WordPress site along with a variety of short-code widgets to manage content easily.
To complete the process, CemtrexLabs transferred all of the pre-existing Essence Festival site assets and migrated them into the new festival site. The Essence Festival hosts more than 400,000 attendees per year and their newly developed & designed website serves as the sole platform; for festival schedules, ticket purchasing, sponsor information and more.
The migration went off without a hitch. The result was a refreshed festival website for their massive festival. There was no downtime for the website, no issues of corrupted or missing

An AR Masterpiece
The King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue worked with CemtrexLabs on creating an AR experience that celebrated collective exhibition art and culture while simultaneously provoked empathy and conversation.
We started by setting up an AR environment by leveraging Vuforia and Unity 3D while concurrently creating the AR avatars. Afterwards, the user interface was established along with API and modules that gave the KACND team control over the app’s content.
The application gave visitors an innovative experience, allowing them to unveil secrets while interacting with various rooms around the venue and the community around them.

Building and Refining the Cannabis Supply Chain through a Consolidated App Experience
The Bushl team came to us looking to build a web app experience that strengthened and enhanced the way in which the 5 tiers of the cannabis industry interact with one another. These industry tiers include the supplier, manufacturer, dispensary, marketplace and consumer elements.
CemtrexLabs started by laying out the foundations of the design. The Bushl team wanted a smooth and clean user interface that encompassed the Bushl brand pillars. Slim lettering with moving reactive icons were established for a standout touch. Following the design and development of the designs, we underwent architecting the website.
Our architects began to think about how to best structure the Bushl website’s architecture and codebase. We integrated social media linkage to the website as well as a MailChimp setup. Establishing the marketplace user experience quality along with purchasing flows was the team’s top priority, seeing that the Bushl website was a hub for a variety of cannabis-based transactions.
Since Bushl’s web app launched, the platform has grown rapidly, garnering praise from cannabis businesses and consumers alike. We continue to support Bushl as their company and offerings grow.

Powerful POS and CRM features, packaged in a Simple and Easy to use Responsive Web and Mobile App
Our goal for Maderas Labs was to make a definitive CRM and POS solution for Pitaya and their other boutique hotels & resorts worldwide. We worked very closely with the Pitayas team to ensure the web and mobile app was to their specifications. During the initial rollout of the system, Gaurav (our CSA) and Lucky (our President) headed over to Pitaya to provide on-site support.
We continue to support Maderas Labs, working with their team on further iterations to the experience and system, including major enhancements to accounting, billing and reporting. We also worked closely with the Pitaya team to transition the system and codebase to a newly hired internal tech team that would work to maintain the system.

Creating a New Experience Driven Platform for Skill and Passion Sharing
AARP approached us with a challenge – to find digital solutions that attract and further engage 50-59-year-old member clients. CemtrexLabs worked closely with the AARP team to design and leverage a P2P marketplace where member clients are able to monetize their skills by teaching willing and able learners.
The CemtrexLabs team engineered and designed a web conversion funnel to channel the responses of 1,000+ of the targeted demographic for experimentation data. We tested and demonstrated this data over a 5-month period in order to prepare the AARP team for a second phase of engagement.
Agile marketing & design delivered transparency and ensured rapid progress; with both teams touching base each week to discuss weekly interval progresses. CemtrexLabs also provided Google Analytics analyses and work progress synopsis of the completed work prior to the meeting times. Monthly summary goals were prioritized as well, to ensure successful optimum experimental development.
By the end of the 7-month period, the CemtrexLabs team exceeded their web funnel sign-up goal.
To complete the period of experimentation a thorough analysis of the collected data took place. CemtrexLabs identified key signup motivation such as messaging and pricing as the web funnel’s most appealing components. A detailed and comprehensive lab report was presented to the AARP team at the end of the 7-month period in order to prepare AARP for their second phase of engagement

An Innovative AR Experience for the Arcadium popup at Hudson Yards, NYC
Richemont, the parent company of world-famous luxury brands like Piaget, Mont Blanc, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Cartier, wanted to create an innovative experience for their Arcadium exhibit, a popup at Hudson Yards in NYC. Working with the C-Labs team, they arrived at an idea of an immersive magic room that would showcase several brands and become the central exhibit to their first multi-brand popup experience. With a tight deadline, we were able to create all the AR experiences in under 11 weeks, bringing the whole thing to life in time for the launch of Arcadium.
The experience went off without a hitch: over 7,000 people visited over the course of two weeks, resulting in 2,000 magic selfies along with overwhelming praise from visitors.
The Richemont team was overjoyed at the reception and grateful for the unprecedented turnaround time to bring their project into reality.
