Cerebrum Infotech is a software product-based company known for providing innovative and scalable solutions. The company has been in the business for over a decade; it has seen how fast technology trends change and how to adapt to them. We make custom software products, and we have ready-to-use products- Education management software, fleet management software, conference management system, on-demand delivery apps, online consultation apps, ride, and rental apps, etc.
I am Kamal Thakur, CEO of Cerebrum Infotech. My responsibility is to build the brand, interact with stakeholders, and execute marketing strategies to reach a wider audience.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I knew there was a high scope for a software product development company. It was with this vision that I started Cerebrum Infotech. My aim was to provide next-gen solutions to businesses that can automate the majority of processes and streamline business operations.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team of experienced professionals. We appoint a dedicated business professional for every client so that the client has a smooth journey with us. We believe in providing top-notch services and ensure that constant communication is maintained with the client, and he is briefed about every step we take in building the product.

We believe in providing quality services to our clients. Being in the business for over a decade, we understand that providing a good experience to clients is of utmost importance. The moment a prospective client comes in contact with us, we are transparent with them; making false promises doesn’t benefit the business. We involve the client in every step so that he knows what is happening. We not only provide ready-to-market solutions but customize them as per the needs of clients, and for that, transparency and communication with clients is crucial.

Also, we emphasize transparency so that, in the end, clients don’t feel like they are being cheated. We provide clients with updates on the projects daily. We listen to the suggestions of clients and offer our expertise to come up with the best solution.

Right from the onboarding process, we are always ready to answer the queries and issues of our clients. We connect with our clients on a regular basis to learn about issues they are facing in our products. Before starting any project, we have a detailed discussion with our clients about the features they want and the time it will take to complete the project. Most of our products are ready-to-use, and for that, we follow a fixed cost. For developing new products for our clients or for customizing the existing products, we follow a pay per milestone approach.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Once the requirements are clear and both parties agree on the time frame and people required for the project, pricing is always a strategic call of the business. Pricing is the crucial yet last thing that we decide.
