FullPlate is a COVID-19 compliant mobile app for restaurants and their clients. Our team was responsible for completely redesigning the app, developing the admin dashboard and creating a plethora of new features.

FullPlate is available for iOS and Android platforms and is aimed at both B2B and B2C audiences.

The admin dashboard is a web application that helps food-service establishments run their business online. After creating a profile for their restaurant, they can add descriptions, update menus and prices, upload photos and reviews, etc.

The panel also functions as an order management system. Restaurant employees can log in through any device and manage user orders.

Our primary goal was to make the app as user-friendly for the B2C audience as possible. Users simply enter their current location in the app to view all the dining options available in the area and information about them. They can then choose the most suitable way of ordering their food: no-contact home delivery, take-out, or booking a table.

Today, the FullPlate app is a high-demand trending product that has hit the American market and won approval from both the public and the medical community.

Our team developed two different coffee roasting IoT apps for iOS and Android platforms

The apps were built for IKAWA, a UK-based company engaged in manufacturing and selling two types of coffee roasters – high-tech professional and regular home machines. In order not to develop a similar functionality twice, our experts created a common app core with basic functionality (IKAWA Home version). The IKAWA Pro version includes some extra features.

Our key priority was to create the most convenient functionality for coffee enthusiasts who can customize the coffee roasting recipes exactly how they prefer. The apps allow setting very precise coffee beans roasting. Users can create their own roasting recipes by either putting points in the Roast Graph or prescribing the time and temperature for each point.

With our applications, IKAWA achieved a significant increase in sales revenue. Moreover, the growing popularity of IKAWA coffee roasters boosted the development of new versions of the machines.

Cogniteq developers created an official mobile application for fans of the world-famous Chelsea FC.

The app for the guests of Chelsea FC has rich functionality that helps them plan their visit to the game at the stadium and also enhances their experience. The range of its features includes exclusive offers, travel assistance, match schedules, weather forecasts, profiles of all Chelsea players, the latest club news about matches, scores, and club events. 

Users of the app also have access to a hospitality guide. This guide covers such issues as menu and wine list, information about the staff responsible for catering and hosting, guides on hotel rooms and business meeting halls, dress code and others.

The Chelsea FC Hospitality app has managed to gain thousands of satisfied users among both season ticket holders and guests of Stamford Bridge. After the app was launched, the club noted a significant improvement in the quality of guest care at their facilities.

Cogniteq had a task to develop four IoT apps for Android and iOS intended for cyclists.

We built two new Android apps based on the old one, improved its design and created two separate apps for iOS users. For Android applications, there was an important requirement to leave the core of the old code and separate its contents into a library for reuse. 

The apps are able to recognize the sensor, connect it to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, receive data from the strain gauge, store data locally in a special format, synchronize data with the server.

The apps also enable users to calibrate the sensor and check for bootloader and firmware updates. Some versions of the app provide the possibility to register a user. The server side interprets the data and generates visuals and reports.

As a result, TeamZWATT reported a significant growth in strain gauge sales. The development of the applications also made it possible for the company to launch new lines of products under its brand-name.

EnvirON is an IoT iOS app for remote control of household appliances.

This app is designed to be the best and easiest way to operate any device you might have in your home, including TVs, music systems, lights, kitchen appliances, door locks, wireless light switches, or remote controls.

The way EnvirOn works is exceptionally simple: the app uses Bluetooth to connect to hubs that link devices on a home automation network and control communications among them. Hubs provide seamless communication between iPhone / iPad and smart home devices. Users need to purchase some special hardware to exploit the EnvirOn app. At least, it is necessary to buy the EnvirOn Hub.

EnvirOn does not require Wi-Fi to work. It means the app can be used anywhere, for instance, at schools, healthcare institutions, etc.

EnvirOn has become one of the best disability-friendly apps and has helped the company to bring EnvirOn Hub hardware to the disabled assistive devices market.

Having robust expertise in FinTech, Cogniteg developers built a mobile banking app for a major Kazakhstan bank.

Our experts designed features that allow users to make payments, top up the balance of Altyn cards, transfer money from a card to a bank account or any other card. The app makes it easier to move money between Altyn cards and externally linked ones: a user needs to enter CVV / CVC codes.

Our team built a large eLearning platform that has iOS, desktop, and web app versions.

The online learning platform contains a great number of video seminars for those who are interested in getting professional knowledge in different spheres.

All the versions of the platform have such features as honesty detection to prevent users from cheating, copyright protection, user authentication and multi-language support. 

When a course is completed, a user gets a certificate. Our experts also integrated a payment service to allow users to pay for courses directly on the platform.

In addition, we developed a separate desktop application for professors to upload video lessons and tutorials that they prepare for students.

Cogniteq built a live TV Android and iOS streaming app for broadcasting on-demand videos and live streams.

We created this app for Daystar Television Network that is a US-based Christian TV network. The main thing that makes Daystar different from a portal with internet television is the way content is delivered to the user. In the app, the signal is shaped at the place where the event is taking place.

For broadcasting on-demand videos in our app, we used standard components: MPMoviePlayer and AVPlayerViewControlle. They can easily play MP4 files via the indicated HTTP URL. 

Daystar also provides the possibility to record and re-watch any videos, as well as to return to the most interesting moments chosen by editors and other users. Moreover, we integrated a system of copyright protection into the app.

As a result, we can observe a significant growth in Daystar’s unique users per month. The app offers the highest quality of video and functions without interruptions.
