Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.

DevIT is a young but experienced IT company from Ukraine that is rapidly developing and helps its clients to bring their business to a new level. As Bill Gates says: “If your business is not on the Internet, then you are not in business!” - and the goal of our company is to help the client to realize his idea in the world of the Internet.My role in our company is CEO.

What is the story behind starting this company?

The history of our company is very similar to the history of many modern large successful companies - in the foundation of the creation of the company there were friends who decided to build a large corporation and started small. Thus, DevIT agency was created, which initially had 3 developers and 1 manager. After 8 years, our company has over 100 employees and we continue to grow.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

Our team is always looking for the best option for implementing projects for our clients, it is important for us that the final result exceeds the client’s expectations. Therefore, in most cases, we take over the entire development cycle, starting from the analytics of the assignment/selection of technologies/creation of the UI / UX design and ending with the full implementation of the product with further support. If a client needs help that is not related to our direction - we know specialists with whom we constantly cooperate, and we can involve them in solving any kind of problem.

How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?

I guess that most companies answer this question in this way - “We have a lot of experience in web development, our employees are very qualified, we have done many successful projects.”I believe that our biggest difference from other companies in the complex work of all our departments and the ability to communicate with the client.Our company has a product department whose specialists have developed one of the most successful applications in Shopify - LangShop.We know how to build processes and how to bring the business to a successful level, and this is the most important basis for any business.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?

Our company is trying to progress in all directions - Healthcare, Media resources, Blockchain and cryptocurrencies, eCommerce, sports resources, hotel business and booking systems.Most often we are faced with projects of corporate clients and often these projects relate to industries:
 - eCommerce
 - Media resources
 - Working with commercial applicationsWe attract new clients with our wide experience, but 40% of our current projects are working with initial clients, whose business has already reached a new level.

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?

We always strive to be flexible in the services that we can provide to our clients, but based on our experience, we have developed a formula of success, thanks to which the probability of implementing a client’s project is almost 100%.The formula is as follows:
 - Correctly planned technical assignment is 50% of success.
 - Correctly selected technologies are 20% of success.
 - High-quality implementation of the tasks set is 20% of success.
 - Quality control during project implementation is 10% of success.Therefore, our company always offers the following services:
 1) Regular communication with the client
 2) Assistance of highly qualified service, architects engineers, and business investigators at the initial stage of project conception
 3) Help from experienced Project / Product managers
 4) Assistance in the selection and configuration of server equipment by experienced DevOps
 5) Assistance in design development by experienced YI / X
 6) High-quality control of executable projects

What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?

Our goal in work with the client is to fulfill the job at a high quality and successfully.
 Of course, like all companies - we may have a misunderstanding with the client and, very rarely, but the result may not coincide with the initial desire of the client - but our responsibility is to find a way out of any situation and bring the matter to a successful result.
 We are a Top Rated agency in the UpWork, our personal product has more than 3600 users and the App rating is 5 stars, 90% of our customers want to continue working with us - that’s why, in our opinion, the CSAT of our company is 95% -98%.
 The steps that help us achieve success are:
 1) Continuous and productive communication with the client
 2) Correctly produce a technical task of project implementation
 3) Quality control
 4) Constant control of Team Leaders and CTO’s

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

Of course, at the initial stage of each projects,  responsible person is Project Manager who always stay in touch with the client.
 If necessary, technical advice - we offer assistance from our CTO.
 In the development process - each team is assigned a Team Leader who controls the team development process.
 At the final stage, we always involve experienced Q/A specialists - who minimize the number of failures and problems on the project.It is this sequence that leads to complete satisfaction of customer requests and problems.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

The payment structure primarily depends on the type of project that the company is developing.
 Our company always tries to give the most accurate estimate of the time it will take to complete the project, but in most cases, clients can change the requirement for the project and the estimate can be changed.
 For enterprise projects - we use a biweekly billing structure with an accurate timetable for the team’s time spent.
 If the client does not change the project specifications, payment can occur after a successfully closed sprint, or after the implementation of a part of the functionality.
 We always try to find a compromise that will satisfy both sides - the client and the company.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

We have a basic budget requirement, at least the 5k+ budget in order to make sure that our expertise is worth the time we spend on the project investigation, communication, the work-scope understanding, analytics of each requirement, client story, and documentation clarifications, suggestions and much more. Sometimes it is pretty hard for us to give up the interesting project, so we do have compromises when we feel like we are the best match.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?

Between 10 000 USD and 360 000 USD

Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?

In the next 10 years, we see our company as a strong, stable, and successful mechanism of long and hard work. A place where new employees can find stable and interesting projects, and clients can get a high-quality solution for their tasks. A place where a large number of professionals love their work and enjoy it. We see ourselves in several cities - to attract as many experienced developers as possible and share our success with them.
