We are creating and implementing marketing strategy, visualizing companies offers, products and stories on the web surface.
My job is to make the company effective and clients – happy.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We make the web space clearer, more comfortable, and more effective for the business of Ukraine, Spain, Israel, and Russia.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team that consists of designers, copywriters, SEO/PPC specialists, sales and project managers, and of course, web developers. So we have full-cycle options for our clients.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We provide high-quality products. It is as good as most of the products offered by web-development and web-design companies in the USA. And our advantage is that we have back-office in Ukraine. Which means our PHP-developer offers services for 2 000 USD a month compared to 7000 USD in USA and 5 000 USD in Europe. Meaning the client is able to develop a high-quality product for a much lesser cost by leveraging our services.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We do not really care about industries mostly. We often work with online stores, b2b companies providing law, consulting services, medical institutes, car rental, and leasing services companies. Actually, we have various clients from different industries with different businesses – artists, international companies, local companies, and big manufacturers. We work with everyone who wants to explore the internet and wishes to be successful on the web, promoting services and goods.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
The most important thing we look at is the workflow itself and how it could be perfected. But, for the others it could be the platform and functionality of the app.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
It all depends on what the client needs. It is the same question as to how much does it take to build a house? Someone wants a small house with four bedrooms and one floor, and someone wants a big mansion. Both are houses, but terms and costs are different.
Long story short: it can take from 2 months to a couple of years.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
We have a pretty wide stack, so usually we recommend a platform that better suits clients’ needs. For example, for multiple server requests, it’s better to use node.js, which allows future integration with mobile react. But honestly, for any single page application with robust API, the PHP framework is usually enough. We are not interested in unreasonable upsales.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?
Again, it depends. Mostly it’s PHP and JS frameworks.
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
Our best advantage is to create a custom website design with high-skilled animations. But everything we do depends on client needs. If a client needs a template – we do it, even though we prefer to create custom products with high quality.
We also provide a great website with a custom design on a PHP framework like Laravel, Symfony for 2000-4000 USD. In the USA, the same service would cost around 10 000 USD.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc.)?
We have no preference; we work with the one that is more suitable for clients’ needs and goals. We are experienced with Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Spotify, OpenCart, Presto Shop and many others.
My opinion is that the most suitable CMS is the one that client’s content manager knows how to use. Any CMS can be customized enough. But today if client wants to have a high-speed website with good characteristics for future SEO – we offer CMS on frameworks like Laravel, Symfony with 90% customization and admin-panel with good usability. Especially while it is the same price as Wordpress website in the US or Europe.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes, we have different packages starting from 10 hours a month package with 200 USD cost to full-service maintenance of online stores by 8-10 hours a month.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
The cost is always based on technical brief estimation and hours we plan to spend on a project.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We use Fixed cost for apps and Pay per milestone (sprints) for web apps (classic scrum).
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We don’t have a minimum, but we are not interested in working with projects that are not profitable. We take all projects that make profits for us. In short, if the client is ready to pay a fair price to us, we take the project up.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
Min – 250 USD for setting a WordPress template.
Max – 20 000 USD for a medical web app.

The official site of singer and artist is Alena Alena. This site was created to search for foreign concert agencies. The complexity of developing such a site consists in creating visual effects, writing a script for the site and choosing a theme. Our designers, guided by the style of Alena Alena's clips, decided to make the site 8-bit-themed games of the 90s and with GIF images in the background in the style of Spanish
surrealism. Fans of vibrant and emotional sites will appreciate this work.
The online store of the official Karcher distributor in Ukraine. The design of this site was created in accordance with the official colors of the company. What is the main thing in the online store? Convenient navigation, product filter, search, comparison mode and, of course, the basket. This site has a high conversion rate and is easy to use.
We were contacted by an interior design studio. They were interested in promoting the site on the Internet. At the time of the first contact, the client already had a site, but its design is outdated. The site was placed on an inconvenient platform designed for online stores, most of the content was duplicated on the site. It was inconvenient to leave applications, in addition, the interior design studio should have an
appropriate site - modern, stylish and bright. In addition, the company provides a wide range of services, and it was important to disclose the full range of work on one site, logically building a structure, leaving the emphasis on interior design.
Our client is an official distributor of expensive Israeli medical equipment. It was important for the client to make the site on time by strict deadline, since an important conference dedicated to innovative medicine was coming. And, of course, it was important to be represented not only on the stand, but also in digital space.
Our client’s company operates in the expensive market segment and the starting price even for
the cheapest equipment is quite high. Therefore, the request was to beautifully but strictly present the products: medical and cosmetological laser devices.
Time spent on project: 3 weeks What did we do: design/development Cost: $2400
Our client is a construction and real estate company in St. Petersburg, which is engaged in renovation. We have been cooperating for a long time, so it was us who were approached with the aim of making the website easier and less cumbersome. The main task was to simplify the website interface and make it more modern and attractive.
Time spent on project: 8 weeks What did we do: design/development Cost: $2200
The purpose of the client was to accommodate a presentation of two areas on the site: car sales and car leasing. There were two options: change the current site on the WordPress platform or develop new ones and lay the necessary functionality initially, developing everything on a flexible platform. After a detailed analysis of both options at the meeting with the client, it was decided to create a new site.
So, this is given: 2 directions on one site, the client is an international company and wishes of a strict b2b site in compliance with the corporate style.
HOW WE APPROACHED THE SOLUTION AND BUILT THE WORKFLOW:
1. Preparation. We held three meetings, during which we determined the difference and advantages between AVIS services and competitors. They delved into the workflow in these areas and wrote out all the details and nuances. They also consulted with the specialists of the companies and read a total of about 70 articles in the subject of the client. (2 weeks)
2. Planning. Having finished the puzzle in the head, we have drawn up a technical task, a calendar plan for the project, which have been agreed with the client and, having received approval, set to work. Reading further, you will often come across a summarizing line "and agreed with the client." Why? We are building our workflow in such a way that at every stage of website development, the client has the opportunity to influence the course of events and make his own adjustments, which is deprived of many other web studios. Many people prefer to take turnkey projects. In our experience, for half of the clients, coordination and participation are not really necessary, but it is much nicer when there is such an opportunity. In addition, for the remaining half, it is extremely important to be able to influence the process. At the same stage, we began preparing the content, in parallel with the development, in order to be sure of having time for the planned release. (1 week)
3. Design The first step in the design development was prototyping the site and UX design. It was important for us to work out the user's entire path from going to the site to getting the necessary information and leaving an application. Prepared a prototype with all the elements shown, we again agreed with the client. After the approval of the prototype, the second step we completed the UI / UX design, and presented the finished layout, which already could see in colors how the new website of the company will work. (2 weeks)
4. Development. Finally, the most crucial moment. Without going into details, two of our specialists (frontend, backend) began to develop the site, and prepared a ready-made site written in php with an individual admin panel, convenient and simple at the request of the client. Again, they reported to the client and proceeded to the next phase. (2 weeks)
5. QA. During the next week we tested the site and the admin panel for bugs, promptly correcting errors and filling the site with content (pictures, photos, texts in three languages). (1 week)
At the end of the work, we gave a presentation of the project and trained employees to work with the site and the admin panel. As a result, the strongest and most modern site in the niche, the absence of problems associated with an inflexible platform, the necessary functionality and a user-friendly platform.
We continue to cooperate with AVIS, and we are confident that we will soon be able to boast of new joint projects.
