Stoloto Trading House is the biggest state lotteries distributor in Russia. 8 years ago, we have started a collaboration which continues up to now. At that time people bought lottery tickets in kiosks, and the company had only a very brief website with some general information about lotteries.

What did we do?

We launched stoloto.ru, an online lotteries supermarket. We connected the store with integrated payment systems and a loyalty program. Now, the website is used not only to buy lottery tickets, but also to receive the winnings, to earn and spend bonus points, and to manage an online purse.

On stoloto.ru each lottery is unique — and users need to understand how each one of them works. That’s why we made its own promo page with explanations for every game. Now no one will get confused.

Support

Millions of lottery tickets are sold and bought on the portal every day, and the number of users per day hits dozens of thousands. Any errors in transactions complexion are inadmissible: every ticket, regardless of its value, can win 10, 30 or 300 million. To quickly resolve any problems, we have created a separate support team. This is the only way for us to be sure that our project works without errors.

In theory, this project was meant to be an app allowing viewers to participate in pay-for TV polls. But before the first prototype was created, the concept has grown in all directions.

Our creative way

In the first release, we have launched a built-in social network for THT's fans to show what's going on in TV stars’ lives. At the same time, we’ve made a mobile cinema, so all the shows and stand-ups have become available in the app

We've launched the final part of 2014’s biggest project, which was a dancing show “Танцы”. Our app became the main platform for the show. Viewers can vote for their favorites in the app. All the information about the dancers is available in their profiles.

During the first year, we had to redesign the architecture to withstand extreme overloads. Then we have launched nearly 12 projects with sponsors and processed 5 million transactions for a total amount of 6 billion points.

We've tried interactions that are still surprising even in 2017 — from second screen interactivity with soundtrack sync to smart bracelets integration and activities based on growling into the microphone.

Football — the most popular sport in the world, Spartak — the most popular football club in Russia. Mobile app for Spartak was made for million people. For each of them, we tried our best to do a smart, elegant and convenient application. 

Design
The mobile app has to be easy in use. On the small screen it is smart to make emphasis on content, but otherwise, it`s terrible to lose emotional part. We created a set of expressive icons, where the main idea is rhombus — part of Spartak logo.

Content
At current version, we focused on content: news, videos, articles, text translation of football matches, statistic.

Integrations
When it comes to working, the server of the mobile app has to take all risk with highload. To do so, we have created some integration protocols which simplified registration process. It helps us to make an app which is work, even if external systems shut down. We have also connected Spartak system with bank "Otrkitie". They are the main partner of the football club and now fans can order bank cards in an app. 

After two weeks of start, we received:
Feature-placement on the main page of Russian AppStore. 
5 stars in AppStore
5 stars in Google Play
First place in “Sport” category of Russian Appstore.

The next six month we planning to release some important updates. They will include ticket sale, online shop, bookmaker system and extended section «Statistic»
