Expert User Experience Design Agency.

Interface and dashboard design is what sets Fuselab Creative apart from our competition, and is the kind of skill set that requires the unique ability to combine art and science, in much the same way an architect can take a house that may seem cramped and dark and turn it into a useful and beautiful space to live for years to come.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Fuselab Creative is a digital product and UX/UI design agency. We are focused on software and application design that takes makes people's lives better, helps businesses succeed, and supports better health.
What is the story behind starting this company?
The company began as a design agency that did everything from social media campaigns to mobile app design. Years later we are primarily focused on interface and dashboard design for organizations in almost any industry that has large data systems that they want to make accessible and usable. This could be health and wellness patient data or covid-19 government data, it really doesn’t matter. Fuselab is extremely adept at helping organizations take information of any kind and creating an easy-to-use interface for users, regardless of their technical savvy.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have four design teams of UX/UI designers that split up our workload on front-end design. We also employ expert digital strategists, motion graphic specialists, project managers, and executive-level staff. If needed we have several teams of front-end and back-end code developers.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
One of our biggest differentiators is our focus on building Figma Design Systems. Our goal is always the same: build a design system and documentation that accounts for every pixel and explains in excruciating detail the assumed functionalities. In order to achieve this, we also build numerous prototypes in Figma and include full documentation in Zeplin.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We certainly have a lot of clients in the healthcare and wellness fields, however, we find that there are really no industries anymore that don’t need some kind of digital design support. Many of our clients are now on long-term contracts with annual renewals. I would say about 50% of our clients are under contract renewals or have returned to us for additional work after our first project has ended.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
UX/UI Design, Digital product design, and development, Illustration, and animation.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We have a very high satisfaction rate among our customers now, as anyone can review on Google reviews and GoodFirms.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Our executive staff and project managers are available to our clients, both present and past to handle any questions, requests, or issues 24/7.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
At this point, we have many different arrangements with our clients, such as monthly retainer agreements, fixed price deliverable contracts, as-needed services, maintenance agreements, and free consulting on practically any digital need someone may have. We always want to be seen as a partner in our client’s success instead of a contracted vendor.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Although we often find ourselves doing favors for friends and family, we tend to not take projects with a budget under $20,000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021?
In 2021 our largest project was for $760,000 and our smallest was for $21,000.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
I think we like the size we are now, but we would like to possibly join a larger company as their in-house design team. We are also in the process of building several experimental digital products of our own, so who really knows what the future may hold for us.

The project is primarily focused on issues of corruption, abuse of power, and when the government fails to serve the public.

Last year, a Government Agency started a project to visualize and create a database where users could see where the federal government’s COVID-19 relief funds were going.

They knew this would involve taking a lot of different data sources of publicly available information from the federal government and merging them into a web application — our goal was to display this information and make it consistent, navigable, and available for users.

The final product is a web application that is essentially a database. It required a completely custom solution — they took hundreds of millions of lines of data, merged them, and made them filterable, searchable, and manipulatable by our users.
