Instinctools upgraded a large volume of semi-compliant Dita content to Dita content, and migrated it to their Ditaworks SaaS system. As part of the initial project, they also built a custom interface to our company website CMS for document handling (product association, new release, update, removal). They have also done a number of other customisations and improvements since the initial project.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Instinctools is good at understanding the technical issues - once an issue is outlined, they do not need repeated explanation. They also do not simply accept a proposed solution, but they think about it and propose a better solution. I was really impressed by the custom interface they built for us - we outlined the requirements, and they implemented them in a user-friendly way that makes the interface a pleasure to use.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
I would like them to have more DitaWorks customers, especially since it's a good Dita CCMS for a mid-sized company.

Developing software on a project basis can be difficult. As we don't always have the same ongoing project, new teams are assigned to us periodically. Despite having worked with *instinctools for some time, we often have to start from scratch and brief the new team. It isn't necessarily a negative aspect, but that's the only improvement from our side.
