We have approached IPS for a web app product development that lasted for about 8 months and looking to continue working with them. It was important for us to crystallize aspects through the user journey considering emotional states and UX aspects for an older client. IPS team was amazing from the first day and we feel that they are an extension of our team.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Intelligent Profit Solutions company (www.intelligentprofitsolutions.com, former EdwayApps) has been established in 2011 to provide consultancy and software development services in IT. Initially, we have been serving the mobile app market and quickly became a solution designing company. We have offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

With the help of structured research, we analyze the business of our clients and compare it with the best practices existing in the market. This analysis allows us to identify problem areas that can be improved. Based on the analysis, we are developing a solution that will allow our clients (companies) to capitalize on and improve their business operations and accelerate growth. Based on this solution, we are developing new software. These can be mobile applications, web applications, artificial intelligence algorithms, analytical systems, and much more.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I came from a financial and investment background. Before that, I have worked in a Biotechnology company and running various projects that went deep into the part of my role. I have completed the CPA and undertook some project management-related subjects to support my position in the company.

In 2011 I have decided to move into IT as being fascinated by what technology can bring to people and the effect it has on companies. I have always been interested in software and technology in general. My background in projects and management supported me.

In investment, I have always liked to dive deeper into other industries and select companies after performing deep research. That is how I have succeeded and became a millionaire at 26 years of age.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
The core of our team works permanently, and we also attract the additional resources we need on an hourly basis or to perform a specific task for the project.
Our team is distributed across various countries (from Japan to Belarus and even Canada), besides the Australian office. Team management and process automation. We can work remotely or from home or office without losing efficiency.
 
Starting a development center in Russia in early 2019 that grew today to more than 70 people was a tremendous achievement. We had to find the right management, create a way to reduce staff rotation and their motivation to grow and improve skills at a group and personal level.

Since the COVID pandemic started we have identified that our strength is in a well-established process that allowed us to work uninterruptedly during the COVID and access talents from various parts around the world.
 
When we work with our clients, we charge them on an hourly basis or offer an end-to-end solution from ideation to development and deployment. We can also involve third-party service providers if this is necessary for the successful implementation of projects.
 
We have expertise in bringing our start-ups to the market and therefore are knowledgeable of strategy aspects at every level, creating business and marketing roadmaps that support the technology development. We provide help through our network from onboarding first customers, bringing partners, and making introductions to investors.

We always innovate on operational and business levels.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
We are distinguished by our systematic approach to identifying problems and an innovative view of their solution. We apply our skills and achieve amazing results by developing our projects. Thanks to constant perseverance and innovation, we have successfully developed hundreds of useful projects and several original products of our own. Throughout our existence, we have been constantly developing innovative solutions that allow people and companies to meet their needs.

Adevi is an AI-assisted rapid web and mobile application prototyping platform for collaborative built and project management with source code generation and team collaboration. What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We can use different payment terms and options, depending on how convenient it is for our customers. This can be a monthly payment, payment based on the results of work stages (Milestones), or a combined system that includes advance payments and payments upon completion of the project. Additional payment benefits are provided for large clients.

The cost of the contract can be constant, variable, or combined, depending on its terms.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
It depends on the scope, but normally it shouldn’t be less than 5k and in most cases 10k+. In such cases, we need to understand that their further work will be required and we establish our relationships. At the same time, this works with our existing clients who have been with us for quite some time, and the communication and process are well established. The big hurdle normally is to introduce a client to a well-structured process and keep him accountable for that.
Well maintained documentation is a key and we had some projects that came to us with legacy patches, and not maintained documentation. In such cases, we recreate maps and documentation including taking full ownership of the project and set a plan for enhancement.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
Normally our clients range from 30k to 80k for the MVPs or bringing projects to the market. However, in most cases, those clients stay with us over a minimum of 3 years and they fully trust us with further development and maintenance. Saying this we have clients who spent above 200k+ with us.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
We see ourselves as leaders in the technology space with multiple Development centers around the world. Having Adevi.io as the best standard in software and app development.
