iQlance is an award-winning mobile app development company based in Toronto, NYC and California. Here at iQlance, we inspire “idea to innovation”. We are a team of experienced developers, Technical experts and passionate people who love to deliver a high-quality product. We are experts in building mobile apps, web development, custom software solutions, and game development. We also help start-ups and enterprises. I’m Founder of the company and my primary role in the business is to lead the process ensuring growth and high effectiveness for the deliverables.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
I was always passionate about “building something innovative and meaningful”, and it inspired me to provide the solutions through technology. With the same passion and inspiration, on every single day, we give our best to meet our client’s expectations to deliver the highest-quality product.
What is your company’s business model–in-house team or third-party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have passionate, friendly and experienced in-house team. They cover all stages of product development cycle from system analysis, wireframes to design, code implementation, quality assurance and launch.
How is your business model beneficial from a value-added perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
The key factor that makes our business model valuable for success is our technical capability, domain knowledge and location i.e. Canada, NYC and California.

In general, there is no any specific formula that would allow measuring development timeline. App development time frame is totally depending on functions and number of screens. We would recommend sending project requirement with app development company after signing an NDA. They will help you to outline development plan for application. In terms of developing the front end and back end, time may vary based on application structure, modules and functions. However, we can consider 1:3 ratio.

Every product/app targets a people and place. And by considering 5Ps of marketing, we suggest the best platform to build the application. Second key parameter would be platform support. However, in many cases, client prefers to build an application on both platforms.

Well, it is totally depending on requirement and client’s preference such as location, users and personal interest. Based on our many years of experience, iOS (iPhone/iPad) is the default choice for many clients; however, many clients prefer Android as a right platform to start. Again, it depends on requirement and client’s choice.

Well, platform selections between Android or iOS totally depends on the requirement and business model. It differs based on project scope. 70% clients prefer to build on both platforms.
We suggest building a native application for many reasons such as a faster, responsive to users and advanced GUI experience. On the other hand, the hybrid platform costs competitive as compared to the native platform.

While analyzing the project scope, we consider parameters such as number of features, platform, required skilled resources and required timeline.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have flexible development model and payment structure. Fixed Cost Development with the Pay Per Milestone, which gives full assurance to clients that they are paying for what they have received. Our many clients work on a Dedicated model with having monthly billing cycling.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our aim is “idea to innovation”. We like to support start-ups, small business owners and individuals to bring their idea into reality. We do not focus on the minimum budget.

In year of 2017, we delivered 50+ Mobile applications and 200+ Start-up solutions from $5000 to $100,000.

It depends on product and platform. We have integrated-app purchases, ad banner, contextual ads, and subscriptions.
