Project brief: migration of 100 VMs with a total volume of 15TB to ITGLOBAL.COM's cloud; Managed IT, outsourced L1 support, integration of CI/CD into DevOps.

Issue: Gazprom Neft's IT infrastructure was hosted by a data center that did not satisfy the customer's requirements for incident response time and SLA. Gazprom Neft asked ITGLOBAL.COM to migrate 100 VMs with a total volume of 15TB.

Solution: The migration was completed in 1 day. The most complex part involved the migration of physical USB keys, which required preliminary organization of network connectivity between the old and the new architectures.

After using our services for a few months, the customer made a decision to migrate the rest of its IT infrastructure to ITGLOBAL.COM cloud. The project is currently in its active phase. In the future, we plan to optimize the development process at Gazprom Neft based on our Managed DevOps service.

Issue: Company contacted ITGLOBAL.COM to prepare for Black Friday and migrate all of its brands to our infrastructure, looking for us to ensure high availability of its services. One of their brands had already been using ITGLOBAL.COM's cloud since the beginning of 2019.

Solution: Each brand is a high-load e-commerce website that has to process orders coming from 600 online and offline outlets. For the customer, in-migration downtime of the service was critical since it entailed direct losses, so we did everything possible to have as little downtime as possible. ITGLOBAL.COM experts calculated the possible load of Black Friday traffic, and scaled resources, capacity, and bandwidth.

As a result, the infrastructure was able to handle the peak load without any issues. company's users did not experience any service degradation, and Black Friday sales went on smoothly. Once the marketing campaign was over, the resources were downgraded to standard levels. Currently, all services have 24/7 monitoring and daily incremental backups.

Project brief: server, database and software replacement, monitoring and backup configuration, HTTPS setup, launch of 24/7 support.

Issue: To carry out trading operations on the Russian market, company must comply with the Russian legislation, namely Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data", which is similar to GDPR. The company needed a database for storing customer personal data: full names, phones, addresses, and other information saved in personal accounts on the company's website. At the time of contacting ITGLOBAL.COM, they did not have enough resources to support a database like this. The company was using legacy Ubuntu 14 OS, had issues with software, did not use monitoring and HTTPS, and backups were stored at the same server that the database was running on.

Solution: We replaced the legacy server software with a new one, optimized the amount of consumed resources (Company was paying for more resources than it needed), set up a new virtual machine (VM) with a modern OS supported by the vendor, optimized database queries, started supporting API used for interaction between the website and the database, installed HTTPS certificates, and configured daily incremental backups and monitoring.

These efforts resulted in 99.9% SLA. Company's customer data is properly secured, and the system works as expected.
