Jellyfish.tech is a Ukraine-based web & mobile development team with a product-oriented mindset.
Our mission is to create and scale MVPs in 10 weeks, reducing time-to-market and supporting founders at every stage of their journey.
We create stable web & mobile products to satisfy any customer needs, from startups to small- and medium-sized companies, adjusting our workflow to your specific product type.

What is the story behind starting this company?
I founded the company in 2016 with a technical co-founder. During this time, we met awesome people who joined our team and managed to create our own product. We went through all the stages a startup owner goes through to better understand how we could help create a product people will love.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We mostly work with an in-house team of developers and managers. We set up the remote work processes and established the web & mobile development flows tailored to specific project types, following the industry's best practices.
We also released a custom starter development kit (SDK) — an “assembly line” for web & mobile projects the Jellyfish.tech team has built to accelerate the development process making it more predictable. The starter development kit is to cover the typical units of functionality (authorization & login, payment, content upload) with the pre-built parts of code that help us focus on custom features, saving your budget.

It's a Time & Material Model (Pay per milestone) mostly, as we follow an Agile approach to project management.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We work with $10k + projects.

Jellyfish have built our entire system, which consists of:
* a mobile PWA to retrieve inspections and file reports using JSON Schema under the hood
* a cloud-based SQL database server
* an Angular dashboard app to administer thousands of clients, objects, inspections, and reports.
We selected them out of 35 candidates. They have been invaluable to us as they have:
* suggested maintainable technologies that have saved us considerable investments
* spoken out when I have been wrong
* made thoughtful considerations throughout the project development phase
* generally cared deeply for our project
