MageNative is a daughter concern of CedCoss Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Global Web-Based IT Solutions and Outsourcing Company. MageNative was conceived and conceptualized in 2015 as a one-stop solution to all mobile commerce problems. It helps budding entrepreneurs and established brands easily convert their business store into a fully functional and advanced native mobile app, both for Android and iOS platforms. We have developed and delivered more than 2000 highly successful and efficient e-commerce mobile apps customized to varying business requirements. Operating from Lucknow, India, we have a global client base engaged in diverse businesses. MageNative was established with the bold vision of capturing the vital technological innovations revolutionizing the e-commerce domain and translating them into meaningful applications. The idea behind such an endeavor is to bring e-commerce businesses closer to consumers and serve as a technological bridge to effective selling and buying. Carefully analyzing the market, we understood that mobile apps are going to be the game-changer in the e-commerce sphere. Accordingly, we devoted our energies to developing mobile apps that would transform a business into a pocket-friendly store.

What are your company's business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

With a highly specialized and experienced developer and designing team on our side, we perform all mobile app development tasks in-house. Right from web development and app development to marketing, we provide comprehensive business growth solutions under one roof. Our project management team continuously monitors the progress of the work and keeps the clients informed over the latest developments. Believing in the philosophy of delivering only quality products to our clients, we never outsource our work. However, where a client needs integration with a third-party service, we provide third-party integration after carefully verifying the authenticity and compatibility of the third vendor.

How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?

The critical factor that differentiates us from others is that we have a highly responsive tech support team that provide accurate solutions to all customer's grievances in real-time. With our business philosophy deeply rooted in serving our customers to the point they are satisfied with our services, we ensure that our customers always get what they expect from us. In reality, we try to deliver more than that, which is evident from numerous customer reviews that present a glorious tale of our successful journey so far. To rightly understand our business model, it is essential to analyze the work of our project management team. It begins with the interaction with a client, followed by assigning the task to specialized developers, continuous monitoring of the job, delivery of the app to the client, and finally remaining in touch with the client to gain knowledge on any issues, whatsoever.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repeated to you?

We cater to a variety of industries ranging from fashion, real estate, FMCG, electronics, finance, and many more. At MageNative, we always seek out to establish a long-term relationship with our customers. This is the reason why we follow up with our clients after the delivery of their mobile apps. As we provide fully customized and native business apps, our customers always come back to us, and as a result, we have a terrific repetition rate of almost 60%.

Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.

Before we begin with a project, we thoroughly analyze the requirements of the client, complexity involved in the development process, and the development methodology we'll be following. Every plan comes with its own set of difficulties, so there is no fixed time frame for all projects. What we do is form an objective based on the client's requirement and follow it by setting small achievable targets. The focus ultimately lies on the timely completion of the project.

How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?

A lot depends on the features being provided in the app. Generally, apps demanding a higher level of interactivity, more attention needs to be given to front end development, particularly the UI and UX of the app. On the other hand, apps that require more integration and complicated processes need strong back end support.

Many factors go into selecting the right platform for mobile app development. Business objectives, budgetary constraints, target market, among others, are some of them. The right platform to cover a more extensive geographical base and for handling complicated business operations is undoubtedly Android. For targeting niche markets in developed countries, the iOS app is suitable.

Which platform do you suggest your clients, to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?

Generally, most of the clients that approach us already have a clear idea of which app they need. In case the client is not sure, we suggest them based on a set of questions. They generally relate to their target market, budget, and customization or integration they intend to have. In most cases, it's best to go for both the Android and iOS apps.

Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?

Native or Hybrid app depends upon which business cycle you are in. For startups running on tight budgets, the Hybrid app should be the choice. Native apps serve larger audiences better, requiring complicated functionality. We provide app development services on both platforms.

What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?

Certain critical factors determine the costing of our mobile app. First is the number of platforms on which the client wants his app developed. Secondly, the amount of customization and integration in the app. And thirdly, the level of complexity involved in developing the app. We follow one of the most transparent cost policies in the industry so that the client can easily compare our service costs with others.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)

We follow a mix of fixed costs and pay per feature payment structure. We charge a minimum fixed monthly fee in the form of recurring charges to ensure the continuous working of the app and round the clock customer support. This is the essential cost that a client has to pay. Where the client needs extra features in his app, he has to pay additional fees according to the pay per feature plan.

Do you take in projects which meet your essential budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

Because we serve various customers from budding entrepreneurs to established brands, there are no such minimum budget requirements that we follow. Our project cost ranges from as low as $500 to as high as $30,000.

Undoubtedly, the foremost concern of every entrepreneur after mobile app development pertains to downloads. And, it is rightly so. There is no purpose of having a mobile app if it does not have any users. That is the reason we suggest our clients invest some time and money in mobile app promotion too. App promotion techniques like mobile app install ads; sincere link ads have a tremendous positive impact on app downloads.
