Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing an ecommerce app.
There are many parameters to determine the time frame of an Ecommerce project like features to be implemented, Third party APIs, Design etc. There are many open source Ecommerce CMS like Prestashop, WooCommerce, Magento etc which provides standard features. If a client wants to go with the standard feature and an open source CMS then it will not take more than 3 working days to configure and host the application on the desired domain of client, creating email accounts etc.
If a client wants a unique design OR customized features then of course this will take time and the time frame will depend on the required customizations. Our approach is very simple, we analyse our client’s business, make a list of features needed, design, how many products required, how much traffic is expected in future etc. Based on our analysis we suggest the best Ecommerce CMS and then customize it as per the required features.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of an ecommerce app?
Again, it depends on the requirements of client. Usually, an Ecommerce CMS provides all standard features, readymade free and premium designs, plugins/modules etc. If one wants to go with all standard features and a readymade design then it's all 3 working days efforts otherwise it totally depends on the required features and design. I can understand the excitement of a client for knowing cost and time estimate of his/her project hence we provide a free consultation to understand the project requirements and provide a genuine estimate.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/outsourcing?
We are a flexible team to work with our client as per their need. Based on our clients’ preference we offer them a team/resource to work and our quality assurance team works closely to each project and ensures the quality of the project.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our business model is different and unique because we don’t ask for any upfront or advance payment, we deliver and then ask for the agreed payment. We are transparent and stick on the deadline and the cost. We provide free lifetime maintenance and support to our clients. Our focus is always trust, transparency and a long term association with our clients.
What industries do you cater to? Are your clients repetitive?
We have enough experience in Ecommerce, Travel, Real estate and Healthcare Industries. However we are not limited to these industries only but also equally excited and open to serve other areas with our cutting edge technology solutions.
Yes most of our clients are repetitive and they happily recommend our services to others. We have a track record of 96% customer retention rate.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for an ecommerce application?
Scalability and Development cost are two major parameters to be considered for selecting the right Ecommerce platform. Some other factors to be considered are
- Security & Performance
- Maintenance cost
- Adding new features
- Design responsiveness
- SEO friendliness etc.
Ask these questions before selecting an Ecommerce platform. How scalable it is to handle the loads as your business grows? Is this cost effective for adding new features in the existing application? Does it have sufficient plugins on its marketplace?
Which platform do you suggest your clients to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce etc) and why?
First we ask to give us a brief of all major features client is looking for and based on the required features we suggest an appropriate platform. Also the budget of client does matter to suggest a platform. For example, Magento is the best platform but not all client can afford it because its development cost is higher than other platforms. Prestashop is another excellent platform which fits the budget of most of the clients. However there is no comparison between any of the platforms but it’s the features and budget decide the platform to go ahead with.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Jumla, Drupal etc)?
We prefer Wordpress OR Drupal. Following helps us to decide which one among both. If a client is -
Looking for a Low-Cost Initial Investment? → WordPress
Looking for the Fastest Set Up? → WordPress
Looking for a Robust and Complex Solution? → Drupal
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of an ecommerce application?
The main factor is features to be implemented hence we ask our client to give a brief of all the major features to be developed/implemented. This helps us to understand the customizations and amount of time needed. Based on the customizations and efforts needed we provide a cost and time estimate to our client.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are very flexible with the payment structure and allow our client to decide the same. We have never faced any payment issue with our client because we believe is in a quality work, transparency, reliability and a long term association.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We don’t have any minimum budget constraints, we treat all projects and clients equally. Working with clients passionate about their idea makes us excited to work hard to convert their Dream into Reality. We believe in helping our clients grow with our technology solutions so that they can help us grow.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We successfully completed many projects in 2018 which pricing range $700-$60,000. However as said earlier we don’t have any minimum or maximum price constraints. We can work even for $100 project and also a million dollar project.
