SOHO Realty engaged Optimum to design and develop a custom Marketing & Sales Process Automation solution that allows for robust automation of SOHO’s back-office processes as well as the integration of SOHO’s current CRM, eSignature, and Financial systems. 

SOHO Realty needed an innovative and customized Marketing and Sales Automation solution to enable its agents, employees, and customers to efficiently communicate and collaborate while ensuring that all the internal and external sales process steps and procedures are properly executed and documents are stored in the appropriate company document repositories. In addition, SOHO’s management team needed to gain greater visibility over the internal operations and agents’ performance by putting in place proper performance indicators and measuring and reporting on those KPIs throughout the sales process.

Optimum worked with the client to identify, analyze, and document the business and functional requirements of this solution and made process efficiency and improvement recommendations to help reduce processing deficiencies and improve efficiency and productivity of sales agents.  We then chose to utilize Office365, SharePoint, and the Nintex platform to design and implement a state of the art workflow automation platform that streamlined and automated the entire marketing and sales operations for SOHO Realty.

We started the project by conducting a Discovery & Define phase, where the business and system requirements of the new software solution were fully defined and documented and the new UX/UI designs were developed, utilizing modern wireframing and prototyping techniques.

We identified, analyzed, and documented the software application’s personas/target audience and highlighted their demographics, behaviors, needs, and motivations. We then conducted interviews and workshops with the key stakeholders and application users to understand and map the User Journey and define the optimal user experience and software product strategy.

We also conducted Usability testing to observe the users trying to carry out tasks with the product prototype and refined and adjusted the UX/UI designs, as needed, to maximize software usability and efficiency. After conducting discovery and requirements definition sessions with the client, Optimum initiated the mobile development project by documenting project requirements and functional specifications and analyzed those requirements to determine the perfect mobile solution and platform to fulfill the client’s needs. Given the complex requirements of the project and the need for several 3rd party API integrations, our team of expert mobile app developers decided to build a native Android app (versus a Hybrid app) to ensure proper app functionality and performance of the app. The design and development if the iOS version is on the client’s roadmap. 

Key Features:

The app uses the consumer’s smart meter data, along with rates and terms from Retail Electric Providers to provide customized, intuitive rate comparisons. Deregulated Electric Markets, along with smart meters, have given energy users the power to manage their own energy selection, manage their usage and demand, and implement energy efficiency measures.  The app users consumer’s most recent energy bill to look up customer information, complete registration and provide rate comparison.
