Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
I started Perfection Infoweb way back in 2013, as a single team member web development company out of a small office enough for two people to work. I own had six years experience in the web development areas so gradually, I started working in Web Development and grew the company to focus on development as services and then one after the other, we kept on adding new services to Mobile App, E-Commerce solutions. Since then, we’ve been able to create more than 350+ happy clients with more than 500+ projects delivered so far. Our essential expertise includes Mobile Apps, Web Development, Mobile Kids Games, that cater to Enterprises, Startups, and Agencies.
Being CEO - my role is to provide robust strategic vision, shared values for our employees and clients as well as continuous support to every member associated with the company. Having 60-70% of repeat business from an existing client says all about how we closely align our operations to the goals of our clients. At Perfection Infoweb, we continue to improvise and innovate - to make Perfection Infoweb a preferred choice for our clients, and a proud place to work at for all of our employees. I’ve been blessed to have an incredibly talented team.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
After doing my BE in Information Technology Engineering in 2007, I dabbled in the IT sector for a few years, learning and observing the various verticals and then in 2013, I finally led the foundation of Perfection Infoweb which has now grown into an IT Conglomerate with combined efforts of our team.
I believe every entrepreneur can relate to the phrase “Steps have to be increased to cross the path.” I realized that as a big opportunity and was quick to act on it. I immediately started and hired two members who could work on PHP, which was getting popular.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
When it’s about serving the clients, we solely rely on our in-house team. We have an in-house development team working parallelly with the offshore project managers located across the world. We use this model to provide affordable project delivery and better client experience. The team comprises of certified Magento developers, designers with years of experience in serving clients from different geographical location and belonging to distinct niches.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Each company has a model and methodology. Our business model is based on client satisfaction and delivers the best result. We do not sub-contract or outsource because we feel that close communication, ensuring the quality, checking the code, having three levels of code review processes is essential, for which we have a strong team.
Additionally, We have our own Project Management Tool, which we prefer to manage the projects and follow the progress.
With our cost-effective and time-efficient processes, we can provide affordable and better quality IT solutions.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repeated to you?

Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.
The critical parameters which ought to be considered while determining the time frame of app development are Scope of work, Identification of the target areas, Client Taste in-app features, and Client specifications. While each small feature that adds the value to the end user is essential, it is critical to identify the crucial factors of success and what key differentiation the app brings to the targeted users.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
Almost everybody perceives the app from its face - the UI and front end. It depends on the final custom requirement of the project; however; we have worked on mobile e-commerce apps ranging from 2 months to 6 months in time frame perspective.
However, backend plays a crucial part in maintaining top-notch user experience and how the front end presents the information. For a custom built backend with custom APIs - it generally requires about 30-40% of total app development efforts. It could be less in case of using 3rd party APIs or endpoints of an existing system.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
The critical parameter of choosing the right platform is to see what your end-users or consumers are using. Selecting the right platform for apps to depend on the Client's Budget, Target audience, time & cost, features requirements which need to include, Payment gateway, Client preference of technology to be used, Database (Cloud, server or offline data).
Which platform do you suggest your clients begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
I would recommend going with iOS firstly. There are many reasons which keep iOS App on the first position as compare Android. It’s true that Android development may easy & little bit cheaper than iOS, but it can get messy the people by just passing the APK file to each other and install. If we compare security, Android app content can grab by many third-party hacking apps while the iOS app is not easily possible. Also, I would recommend using API to show all data inside the App instead of any static content.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
The scope, of course, the scale of the work defines how much the client should look for investing. The cost of mobile depends on the number of working hours required by Developers (iOS or Android), Designing team, Testing team, Project Management & Communication, Deployment, training and handover process, Server configuration, Post-deployment support.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, or versions)
It varies as per agreement with the clients. Generally, we have two predefined models; the client can pick any of them.
1) Fixed Cost where the payments are broken up into smaller installments referred to as Payment milestones, which are directly connected with the delivery milestones.
2) The second is allowing the client to hire 1 or more team members in projects on an hourly basis. We typically invoice clients every month for all the services provided. To keep track of the number of person-hours spent on various aspects of the project, weekly and monthly (consolidated) timesheet are sent to the clients.
Do you take in projects which meet your essential budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes, we prefer projects which are above our essential budget requirement, which is USD 5000.
If a project is going with an hourly basis, then we are open to all sorts of budget requirement, but the minimum billing should be for at least 40 hours with a total cost of USD 1000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We have worked on a project ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients, enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
To attract more customers by providing some useful features in free of cost and allow to access more advanced features in paid. In the starting phases, we can focus on getting people to use the application and create a brand, while in next step, go for Freemium model where you are adding extensions to your business and letting people pay for those services.
