Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
We are an award-winning animation studio based in the UK, helping companies explain the real value of their product/service through animated explainer videos. We help to simplify and break down complex solutions within 60-90 seconds to inspire the viewer to take some sort of action.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Pulse Pixel was founded by Umesh in 2017, after dropping out of university with -£1000 in his bank account. Umesh had a background in videography and had a passion for storytelling. Since then, Umesh and Pulse Pixel have worked with hundreds of companies, from small start-ups to large enterprises.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We’re very open with the fact that we choose to outsource our videos. This allows us to draw upon the best talent from around the world, not limiting ourselves to an in-house team that’s based in one city. It also allows us to be more efficient with our costs and gives both us and our team the flexibility and freedom to work from wherever.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Pulse Pixel differentiates itself through creating full custom videos that focus on the storytelling and conversion aspects. Most explainer video companies focus on creating a video that looks nice. We focus on creating videos that actually generate results and play a clear role in the companies sales funnel. We also help our clients beyond video, offering digital marketing services that will complement their video.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We mostly work with Tech and Software companies due to the complexity of their solutions. Some of our clients will often return for additional videos or digital marketing services. We are open to working with all industries since explainer videos are a service that most companies would benefit from.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Animated Explainer Videos are our core service. We also offer digital marketing services from Websites, Google Adwords, LinkedIn Advertising & more.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We have over 100 reviews spread across several review sites, with a 100% satisfaction rate. We’re very selective with who we choose to work with, and will only choose a partner that we are confident in delivering for.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Our Creative Manager is our go-to person for all client communications, queries, feedback & more. We utilize project management software such as Basecamp to provide an organized method of client feedback for project deliverables.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Projects are billed at a fixed agreed rate.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our video solutions from $3k per 60-seconds, but can vary based on the complexity of the project.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
$3000-$6000USD per 60-seconds.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
