Get clean, stress-tested code. Service so good, it’ll make you smile. And a team that will never leave you hanging.

How do we differ from other design to code companies?

Two important ways:

1. Quality Assurance and Testing

We have a 3-layered intensive testing and quality assurance process that includes a developer, a dedicated tester, and a seasoned web designer thoroughly reviewing your project. In this process, we make sure our code matches your design files to the highest level of accuracy possible. We also make sure everything functions the way it should, and that everything looks right across a wide variety of browsers and screen sizes.

The incredible care and attention to detail we put on testing means we get things right the first time.

2. Extremely High-Quality Client Care

You'll have not one, but 2, dedicated projects managers ensuring you have round-the-clock care and incredible support throughout your entire project.

Why do we do things this way?

We used to be a design agency that outsourced code, and we struggled to find a development team that we could rely on.

After so many years of sending long lists of fixes and bugs that never seemed to get sorted out, we finally decided to start an agency that did things right for a change.

And that's how Reliable was born.

We put together a fantastic team of developers, testers, and project managers, and launched the best web development agency we've ever come across.

Now, five years later, hundreds of clients are happy and proud of our work and are so relieved there’s finally a “reliable” source to turn to.

We’d love to show you what a great help a reliable dev partner can be—please always feel welcome to reach out to us for a free quote or even just for a friendly chat.

Thanks so much for reading our profile—I hope to hear from you soon!

Kindly share your feedback on how GoodFirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.
We’ve loved being a part of GoodFirms and taking advantage of all the great exposure and opportunities.
Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company.
Hello! My name is Viktor Solovey. I’m CEO and founding partner of Reliable PSD. We’re a design, front-end, and WordPress development firm.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We initially started as a design agency that was outsourcing code to various PSD to code companies but continued to have bad experiences, such as getting back code that looked nothing like our designs and hadn’t been tested. This along with a lot of communication issues led us to start Reliable in 2014 and create the service we always wanted but never received from other dev teams.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We handle all of our development in-house—we don’t outsource anything.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our primary differentiator is in our quality assurance process and communication. Before we send our clients any projects to review, we have the original coder, a dedicated tester, and finally, a designer stress-test everything to make sure it’s a perfect match to the design that functions just like it should. We also prioritize communication with our clients—each project has two project managers to ensure timely and thoughtful email replies that really help keep things organized, on track, and happy.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
The majority of our clients are large design agencies in the U.S. and Canada, but we also do a lot with freelancers and various businesses based all around the world.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
To determine timeframe, we need every unique page design or screen of the app along with detailed functionality notes explaining what’s what. We encourage tools like Invision, Figma, and Adobe XD for the prototyping features that make understanding the flow of apps a bit easier. It’s also really helpful if we can jump on a discovery Zoom call to share screens and go over project details together.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
It depends so much on the app itself and the specific goals of the project. Usually, it’s a fairly equal split, but the scales can certainly tip more towards one or the other on certain projects. For example, something with a lot of snazzy effects and animations could require a bit more time from our front-end team, but an app with a thorough onboarding process or membership functionality may lean more on our back-end team.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
We consider things such as ease to scale, flexibility, how active the platform community is, the number of developers working within the platform, frequency of updates, and level of documentation.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?
Vue.js + PHP, Vue.js, WordPress, React.js, Node.js
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We do offer design and have an awesome creative team in-house. We do a lot of fully custom design, but we’re also happy to use pre-existing templates when required. We put a ton of emphasis on responsive development as well and do thorough testing on desktop, tablet, and mobile so everything looks great regardless of device.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?
We use and love WordPress—our standard process is to develop fully custom WordPress themes using Advanced Custom Fields, but we can do it all, i.e. theme customizations, page builder tools, custom plugins, custom post types, animations, effects, etc.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
We provide quarterly and annual retainer options which give our clients discounted rates, faster turnaround times, and a flexible way to get help when they need it.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
Similar to determining turnaround time, we need every unique page design or screen of the app along with detailed functionality notes explaining what’s what. If the client is up for a call so we can get to know each other a bit and go over everything together, that’s welcomed and really helpful, too!
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We typically charge a deposit to begin work and require payment upfront before starting each additional phase.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We don’t really have any project minimums at this time. We’re happy to help all clients and take on requests big and small.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
In 2019, we worked on projects as small as $1,000 and as large as $35,000.
