With over 20 years of operation, the client has built a loyal base of B2B customers, particularly enterprises that rely on stock photos on a daily basis. In addition to their stock photo websites for B2C buyers, the client aimed to develop a separate website specifically for their B2B buyers. Solution

eCommerce website with B2B features: Rikkeisoft created a new eCommerce website based on their existing B2C websites, leveraging their proven designs, code logics, and framework. Rikkeisoft was approached by the client to accelerate digital transformation and optimize sales distribution channels for their over five brands. This would prevent missed sales opportunities and increase customer lifetime value.

Solution

Unify All Brands Under One Mobile App: Rikkeisoft created a mobile commerce app for customers to shop from all five brands, offering a consistent user interface and shared checkout cart, aiming to increase conversions and encourage more purchases.

Loyalty Points to Encourage Repeat Purchases: Installed points-rewarding system in all-brand mobile app, boosting sales and encouraging users to stay within the ecosystem.

Idea Realization: For the product idea, the client wanted their product to be complex, with all the functionalities of other popular online trading platforms, for Forex or other trading products. These functions include, among others:

The client also had preexisting UI elements and services required to be used in the project.

Lack of Human Resources: 

Although a fintech company, the client was a startup in its initial phases. The desired product had too big of a scale for their team at the time, and there were simply not enough people in their in-house development team.

Challenge:

Idea Realization – Football-themed Stock Trading App: The client’s product idea is an app that ties stock trading with football management. Companies are represented as players, allowing users to buy, sell, and trade stocks like managers, enabling real-time fluctuations and connecting with others.

Functionality changes: The project was in an infantile stage. Hence there existed no constants – anything can change at any given time. Due to this, the application’s infrastructure is also prone to changing, making it difficult for developers to build advanced parts of the app.

Solution

AWS-based infrastructure: The team built the sales platform on Amazon Web Services, a computing service with over 200 tools, allowing for easy solution-finding and adaptability to project changes without hindering development.

Football Management-like Application: As specified by the customer, a stock trading mobile application with the appearance of a football manager game. Within the application, users can:

• Purchase, sell and trade stocks, both as simulations and in real life.

• Have detailed gain/loss reports.

• Build up their asset portfolio, with evaluations updated in real-time.

• Compare and compete with other traders through expansive social functions.

Challenge

The client wanted to modernize its insurance selling channels through a mobile app, making the purchasing process less cumbersome for the company’s salespeople and their customers.

Solution

To improve efficiency in communication between the client and the development team, a Business Analyst from Rikkeisoft was assigned to the client company to directly work with every involved division and role in a manner similar to a replacement product owner.

AI can enable a safer workplace

As leading manufacturers, airports, and travel sites have successfully applied AI-powered cameras to enhance on-site working efficiency, the company has decided to build one to monitor all production processes & employees with Rikkeisoft.

Implementation requirements: Privacy & integrity

The surveillance system needs to follow their factory working conditions. Furthermore, since data is an essential property of an enterprise, our developers need to ensure seamless data synchronisation between cameras & alarm systems, which meets their transparency & privacy requirements.

Our team has established a fully-automated inspection system using autonomous drone technology and AI video surveillance. 

Use AI & drone cameras to detect threats

While drones can cover large areas in the factory, AI surveillance can detect & report any abnormalities in seconds. As a result, we created a highly proactive & accurate threat detection system, free from human errors.

Alarms to warn workers & record violation evidence

The cameras are connected to an alarm system using IoT connectivity. There are different types of alarms: fire alarms, early warnings & instant warnings. The system can automatically warn when an object enters restricted areas, and then, evidence is recorded & sent to managers. 

Therefore, the automated system ensures workers do not enter hazardous areas and promotes workplace safety. Plus, it’s also a helpful way to prevent the loss of goods & materials.

Challenge

In 2019, Rikkeisoft's investment website gained prominence in Netherland and Belgium. However, they want to expand into the European and US markets. To achieve this, management board members agreed to improve the website. Rikkeisoft's mission is to convert their old website into an advanced multi-domain publishing platform, as it was written in PHP without a framework. The website's user-experience was not optimized, and the company aims to generate revenue through premium membership subscriptions. To achieve this, they need to develop a high-power section for premium users.

Solution

A new website was created using Ruby on Rails as the main programming language, addressing the current website's lack of framework. The tech team created five websites localized for five countries, each with a free and premium section for both free and membership users. The new website features a homepage with brief financial market information, stock page with recent fluctuations, report page with specific public company portfolio, registration page for premium subscriptions, paid user information page for premium members, online payment integration with PayPal and Robobank, and an admin portal for efficient management of user data and website resources. The website also offers a comprehensive admin dashboard for efficient management of user data and website resources.
