Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
I started SkyTech Solutions with the sole purpose of providing excellent outsourcing services to SMEs in 2013. We started off as a small-scale telemarketing firm operating a couple of profitable projects, now we provide almost all sorts of outsourcing solutions.

As the CEO of SkyTech Solutions, I oversee the work process of the organization. I guide clients seeking outsourcing services & offer them solutions based on their needs. I am also responsible for overseeing and maintaining the overall integrity of the company profile. Overseeing progress and auditing each employee has been my primary goal, as I try my best to encourage and motivate each individual separately. Even though I have people taking care of the littlest details, I like to add more finesse to the workflow.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I’ve been in the BPO scene since 2007, starting off as a telemarketing agent at a call center in Bangladesh. While doing a job in a couple of companies till 2013, I decided to start my own business with a clear vision of making SkyTech the best BPO Company in Bangladesh.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third-party vendors/ outsourcing?
While we ourselves are a third-party BPO company, we handle all our processes through in-house staff which we select and train right here at SkyTech.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
I will start by stating the fact that Bangladesh has been a competitive stage for BPO companies. Operating and maintaining a BPO company in Bangladesh is a challenging task especially with many capable competitors. We have not only outlasted our competition but also managed to expand and diversify our operations over a large scale. We rank as one of the best BPO companies in South Asia. I think this is mainly due to the direction we choose and the experts we hire who, over time, have made it their passion to serve SkyTech to the fullest.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
SkyTech handles clients from industries such as retail & e-commerce, financial, real estate, home improvement, healthcare, energy solutions, information technology, and media & gaming.

The clients we serve have been with us since the beginning. The clients we have already served have all been repetitive, coming back to us for each project with renewed contracts. We can proudly state that 90% of all our clients have been repetitive.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
We are most well-known for our customer support services, inbound & outbound sales services, and Back-office support services. We have mostly been approached for our customer support and back-office support services that stand out among the competition in the region.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Our approval rate from our customers has always been around 95%. Our main motive is to provide such a level of customer satisfaction that keeps our customer retention rate high.

Customer satisfaction is our primary goal and we take strict steps to ensure this. First, we start by offering our customers a contract that covers all their needs with fair and reasonable pricing. We then proceed to hire recruits that suit the type of industry which is in line with our customers. The training process enforces firm beliefs of professionalism and a strong incentivized target system which motivates our team to provide the best results for our customers.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
At SkyTech Solutions, we believe in transparent and seamless communication -be it within the company or with our clients. Our client support team is active around the clock, catering to clients’ needs and queries, waiting to address any discrepancy that they may incur in the work process. We are available over the Phone, Live Chat Support & E-mail.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)?
We are flexible on payment structures. Though we mostly work based on hourly pay structure but we also accept pay per feature and fixed cost structure.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We don’t have a minimum order value that we usually adhere to. Rather we assess our client’s needs and see how we can contribute to them. Those are the underlying factors of qualifying a project for our approval. So far, however, we’ve taken up projects with a budget that go as low as $5000.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
In 2020, we have catered to a wide array of BPO services from our clients - ranging from Back Office Support, Customer Support, Web Design & Development, Digital Marketing, Telemarketing & Sales to Virtual Assistance, Content Moderation, Image/Video Editing Services, etc. Given the wide selection of services we’ve provided, our prices ranged from $5000 to $500000 with $5000 being the minimum & $500000 being the maximum.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
I intend to see SkyTech Solutions as one of the leading BPO companies in South Asia. In addition, we want to scale up and create employment for the promising youth of Bangladesh. As we gain expertise and insight into the global BPO industry, we’d like to share our knowledge with the people around us. It’s not about where I’d like to see my company in the next 10 years, but rather what more I can do for our youth and the country within that time.

Review Summary

SkyTech provided a customer retention team that helped us to lower the number of booking cancellations. The agents’ goal was to find out the reason for customers’ dissatisfaction and offer alternatives such as rebooking, date changes, etc. Besides, from time to time, the SkyTech agents took an active part in other activities such as ticketing or regular customer service calls.

SkyTech team managed to increase the Net Promoter Score and retained our customers. They establish an effective workflow through excellent partnership and transparent communication. The team's performance set them up well for a long-term collaboration.

We selected SkyTech for their approach to cooperation, flexibility, analytical KPI-driven approach, and rates they were able to provide. So for us, it was the most cost-efficient solution. SkyTech built a back-office support team of dedicated agents who cover live chat requests, emails, and inbound calls. Once we required an outbound call center for a limited period of time, and they were able to provide us with a team on short notice.

SkyTech was critical to our business growth. They were very quick to onboard and ramp up, which allowed others to focus on other business matters. They were extremely proactive in surfacing opportunities for improvements either in our product or our business practices. We appreciate most just how flexible they were in working with a smaller, but rapidly growing, business.

The team answered 100% of tickets beginning day 1. This was hugely impactful because it freed other employees up to focus on growth and product development. Over the duration of the partnership, our principal metric for measuring customer satisfaction (CSat) improved by 30 points and that had tangible impact on the growth of our business as well. They really exceeded our expectations in that regard. I can't say enough good things about Musnad, Patrick, Jay & Mac.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They are active 24/7. I really don’t have any issues with their team even if there is a time zone difference. They are proactive, timely and responsible. They can work without supervision. So the team synchronization was perfect with SkyTech.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Like working with any team based in another country, there is an opportunity to improve customer communications when conducting it not in one's native language. Word choice/vocabulary/accent work, all help with the customer experience. But overall they are good at what they do.
