Angelo’s primary role is to ensure that this objective is met with each and every project the team encounter.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
I started as a freelancer and begun getting too many requests for projects, which I had to decline. In 2010 I decided to no longer decline projects and simply focus on building a quality team that could handle the volume.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We combine both. If our in-house team is over loaded, we look to out-source.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We focus on the customer first, and the project second. That may sound weird, but most customers don’t know what they want or how to accomplish it effectively from a user experience standpoint. Our experience plays a pivotal role in ensuring projects are successful and fulfil the customers’ business needs.
We also offer unlimited design revisions with all custom projects. Most of our competitors cap revisions.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We have catered to numerous business industries. If I had to narrow it down to three, I would say they are: entertainment, legal, and ecommerce. Yes, our customers are repetitive. I still work with customers I had back when I was freelancing.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
Features & functionality of the app are the most critical parameters. Various user roles and transaction types are also important.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
Difficult question to answer without referencing a specific project. Simple web apps require little effort, and complex apps require a lot of energy and careful attention to detail.
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We offer both custom and template websites, but always prefer working on a custom project. Templates are generally for simple, low budget projects. Yes, our websites are all mobile responsive.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?
We work with most CMS platforms, WP, Magento, Joomla, Drupal, and a custom PHP CMS my development team created.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes. Generally on an hourly rate or pre-defined maintenance plan.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
Features & functionality.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Large-scale projects above 30K are generally monthly or by milestones.
Smaller budget projects are generally fixed cost, with 50% deposit and balance upon completion.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our minimum cost for a 6 page informational website using a template is $750.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
