The Problem: 

The client's existing website lacked a presentable interface and had limited functionality, hindering transformation into a smart intuitive platform. Instead of modifying the existing website, we developed a new, robust e-commerce platform - a marketplace integrated with an educational platform and powerful marketing tools. The platform successfully covered American, Asian, and European markets, helping the client achieve all business goals.

Project Overview

A web application that was developed for children and their parents for designing and constructing their own toy car. 

The user chooses the car elements and creates his own 3D design of a toy car in a virtual garage. It is possible to turn the model around, from side to side, and zoom in. 

The model can be saved in the cart, and as soon as the user purchases the model, it is constructed in reality.

The car elements can be bought separately for the existing toy car in the standard catalog. 

After purchasing the toy car, it is possible to take part in offline tournament with other members of the community. 

The web app has got the following categories:

-garage, where the toy car is created;

-catalog, with a variety of car elements;

-events, with news, promos, discounts, and videos from the tournaments;

-FAQ, where the admin posts learning videos, instructions, and so on.

The client wanted to develop a web app from scratch. 

His requirement was that the users could construct their individual 3D models of toy cars from small 3D car elements. 

Developers did a huge job with 3D designing and optimizing the web app in order it would download faster.

2 Module system for online cosmetics shop

Project Overview

A two-module system for an online cosmetics shop, with an exceptional feature: 

a bonus system with 3 types of commission for the sales managers – all in one app. 

The sales managers retail the online shop’s products and gain bonuses through the Mobile App, which is connected to the Web App. 

The administrator sets the commission rate to each sales manager individually according to  the special bonus system, using the admin panel of the website.  

Such a set of features is not available in E-commerce web template systems. 

The developed two-module system for the cosmetics shop consists of: 

-Web App with admin panel for the administrator, and 

-Mobile App for sales managers.

The project was developed for the owner of a cosmetics shop.

We were to built a system with a unique feature: 

THE SALES MANAGERS COULD SELL BEAUTY PRODUCTS AND GAIN COMMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF THE SHOP – all in one software system.

The client worked through the platform Shopify for payments arrangements, purchase registrations, and used its online cashier system. 

So, another challenge for us was to automate the correlation of the selling process on Shopify, which provides data through API, and our project’s bonus system.

Admin Panel of the Web App

The access to the Web admin panel has the administrator only. It has the following features:

-Users - the admin can create a user type – a sales manager or a representative. 

-Bonus system. The admin chooses a commission type for each sales manager:

• gross revenue commission;
• gross margin commission; and 
• tiered commission.

-Commission rate - (in percent) for each sales manager individually. 

-Start date-End date - the duration of commission.

The admin panel has also got:

-Inventory - the storage, where the goods ordered from Shopify will be displayed, and the administrator could start collecting orders for the sales managers.

-Statistics - the orders made from the Shopify system and the sales managers’ activity. 

-Activity history - all the orders made by the sales managers that the administrator has to collect. All the data will be stored from Shopify. 

-News - the block with posts and videos which the administrator can upload through his youtube account. 

The administrator adds the user to the system, gives access to the Mobile App and controls all profiles and their logins and passwords. 

Mobile App

The Mobile App was developed for the sales managers and representatives who will use the mobile app and work for the online shop. 

The main page includes:

-The whole sum of proceeds;

-The bonuses amount; and

-History.

Also, there are in the mobile app:

-Inventory - the storage where the sales manager makes an order from Shopify. The data from this inventory is displayed at the administrator’s inventory, and the latter starts collecting the order. 

On the client’s demand, we built a Running Low Inventory which could send notifications about the top-requested goods that are up to run low. 

-Statistics - short information about the manager’s activity. 

-News - promo, special offers, posts and videos played by Youtube player. 

-Leader board - a competitive table of current top-3 leading managers with their total sales value and bargains.

The user buys a tutorial and creates the tasks, sorts them out according to the priorities and tracks their statuses. It is also possible to set the notifications to exclude missing an important task.

The working process included building an E-learning app for Android and iOS. 

The client’s strict requirement was an app with:

• an internal app store with possibility of downloading tutorials;

We restructured 10-years worth of student biology data to serve the app better, as well as be used for machine learning algorithms in the future to create a fully adaptive learning experience.

Challenge

The streaming video market is overcrowded with content providers offering their own customized applications. As a result, users have to browse through many sources to find relevant content. This process becomes tricky and time-consuming.

That's why the client entrusted us with the development of an application that should simplify the process of finding video content. We had to create a solution that combines content from different streaming services in one place so that users could find a specific video and identify the platform where it is located.

The back-end architecture is based on the Java tech stack and JVM-based runtime, while the front-end is based on React. The project is a live wallpaper application for iOS devices. This app is well organized and contains an extensive library of wallpapers, live wallpapers, and themes. In addition, it is fully optimized for optimal use and contains various features.

The app has two usage options: with and without a subscription. The free version of the app contains a bunch of ads. It's a little discouraging, but you can always purchase a monthly subscription plan to remove the ads and appreciate the premium live wallpapers and themes.

The project involved many challenging and essential tasks. It was necessary to develop a range of functions related to the implementation of uploading and downloading numerous images. Also, there was a challenge to integrate custom authorization and session customization systems.

The project had numerous non-standard tasks. Two chapters of the game had already been realized, so it was required to implement the third one. Therefore, it was important to preserve the functionality of the previous chapters, as all the chapters had to have elements based on a common logic.

The project is an application for drivers of garbage trucks, which automates the process of garbage collection.

Drivers can easily view and scroll through their route list, update stop activity, and receive dispatched work in real-time. Route information is easily entered via a drop-down selection that instantly transmits back to the app.

Driver activities and their GPS locations are sent to customer service or dispatching and displayed via Google Maps. All information flows back to the app in real time, with back-office functions like route productivity, work orders, billing, and route follow-up completed instantly.

Also, the application allows drivers to scan the QR codes of the containers that need to be collected and display them on the board. Further, garbage truck drivers can set up automatic payments for the services they provide.

Challenge

The customer complained about the slow loading of their website and entrusted our team with testing the system performance. One of the most crucial challenges was front-end performance testing.

Development Process

The customer was offered to implement automated testing using Postman, but the choice fell on the Cypress.io framework.

First, we rafted project documentation that contained a flowchart and the project architecture. Also, we recorded all the available fields for further validation and prepared a checklist with positive critical paths.

While developing this documentation, functionality was tested with the checklist and automated tests on the Cypress Test Automation Framework.

We used Jenkins with Docker. Since Docker can integrate with tools like Jenkins and GitHub, developers can submit code in GitHub, test the code and automatically trigger a build using Jenkins. Once the image is complete, images can be added to Docker registries.

This streamlines the process, saves time on building and setting up processes. So, developers can run tests and automate them.

Result

The customer received a list of all the bugs found, documentation on input field validation, a flowchart with the application architecture, a manual test report, and a set of more than 50 automated tests.

The challenge was to develop a frizzy hair prediction app that asks you to select your hair type and input your location to provide you with information on what kind of products to use in your hair for the day.

Development Process
We have implemented from scratch a system of setting animations for weather forecasts. This system takes into account the weather on a certain day in a certain country. And the system of product advertising depends on the weather required by the customer.

Our team utilized various libraries to work with social networks, animations, and images. The data exchange was mostly implemented through REST. In the work, we used different API services, such as weather forecasts and country codes. All server requests are processed through HTTPS.

The user can register or sign in to the application using social networks like Twitter, Facebook, or Apple ID. Firebase Cloud Messaging allows admins to send push notifications across platforms for free.

Challenge

Because of a diverse company’s structure with many hierarchically ordered divisions distributed over a large area, it was necessary to implement complex mechanisms of budgetary funds approval and distribution with the need to keep the history of mutual settlements and strict accounting reports on the movement of all funds in the system.

All processes for the calculation and payment of benefits involve joint work with other government organizations. Therefore, the list of tasks also included the development of a platform that allows one to set up integration with multiple organizations for rapid information exchange.

And finally, to work with such a complex system, you need to have strong administration and security systems. They should include a complex user role model with various rights and access levels, and implement the encryption of information.

By the time the customer turned to us, they already had about 15 thousand stores, as well as 40 thousand cash registers to work with. You can imagine how much data we had to process. Of course, we had to speed up the system for dealing with such an amount of information. This is a mobile application for telemedicine, allowing the patient to make an appointment to see a doctor and undergo a remote medical examination. The application has the feature of video communication with the attending physician. Challenge
The challenge was to migrate the functionality from an old desktop website into a new React-based web application written from scratch. The main focus was to make the website responsive so that it could be viewed properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Along with responsiveness, we should have made the website multilingual and SEO friendly. 

Development process
By the time we joined, the work had already been in progress for over a year. The main technological stack was written in React, Redux, and Redux-Thunk. 

For unit and integration testing, we decided to use a Jest JavaScript testing framework. 

For E2E and SEO testing, we used a Jest-Puppeteer preset.

Result
We obtained a modern React-based website with a scalable prices module. Besides, we performed numerous corrections and code optimization work in the existing functionality. We provided additional SEO optimization and improved the internationalization.

As a result, the client managed to migrate all their stores to the new React web application.

Precious Metals Trading Platform is a custom system for exchanging and trading precious metals, coins, and crypto-tokens based on the mobile OS. The users can make orders online. Once the order is received by admins, the user gets a confirmation email with all the necessary information. Then it is necessary to transfer money to the bank account of the company specified in the agreement. After the payment is received, noble metals are purchased for the user and are assigned with a unique identification number for further shipment to the storage. They will be stored in insured safes of high reliability.

By the time of release, the application contained eight-step user registration and a menu containing the following sections: 

• settings 
• information about the user and his activity 
• balance of funds
• user goals

In addition, the user status within the application can be upgraded in order to expand the capabilities of a basic account provided at registration. We also added functions such as using biometric user data, password recovery, referral system with reading/generating QR codes.

The challenge was to develop an application client interface that is attractive enough for private investors who are going to buy, sell, and exchange metals. Development process

The task was to create a convenient server-side rendering single-page application as a virtual representation of a real restaurant. Throughout the development process, we used services for payments, notifications, data storage, and continuous integration and delivery.

In this project, we used a Digital Ocean scalable computing service. To provide seamless team collaboration, we followed the Scrum project management approach.

The web application allows users to receive trip orders and reservations, send them to fleets first, and then distribute them between drivers. Moreover, this app is also used as a statistics and management tool.

There is also a mobile application that is designed for drivers to be used during their working hours. It helps them to manage the orders assigned to them.

Getting to the store can be challenging in our regular routines, but as the spread of the novel coronavirus means most people are currently being asked to stay at home as much as possible, getting goods can feel extra challenging. To meet surging demand, our client comes across an idea to build a service that would help people with home-delivery, create income, and also support local shops.

And so we started developing a new service for home delivery — Svop.

The web-app allows buyers to get whatever they want from up to 3 different stores in one run. But it must be possible for one person to carry. Goods can be chosen from all stores nearby.

Buyers need to register on Svop, sign up with credit card to pay for the service, and use Vipps to pay for the goods. After the shopping list has been completed, the service matches the buyer with a runner nearby. Then, a runner will pick a list up and be on their way. Runner pays for goods in advance, and the buyer pays the runner back immediately after the delivery. If the buyer has a special order, he or she sends an e-mail to a help desk.

Svop is a helping hand for a lot of people right now and will have a positive effect, long after the situation has normalized.

The project is an educational application for pupils in 1st and 2nd grade. This app allows teachers to create educational quizzes that teach the same subjects that children will be learning at school in the main subjects of English, Math, and Science. Also, it provides a look into several other topics taught to 6 to 8-year-olds.

The game can be played in groups of two or four people. The idea is simple, each group is given a question and every group member gets individually separate clues. To find the correct answer, the pupils should cooperate taking into account all the clues.

The educational part of this learning book consists not only in getting the correct answer but also in learning how to discuss and cooperate to find an answer. This app reinforces the learning goals that are being taught in school and helps pupils to become more familiar with the subjects. Further, it develops valuable learning skills such as concentration, careful reading, and good comprehension.

The customer entrusted us with the development of an offline-first cross-platform mobile app with specific functions.

Development Process

With the power of React Native, we created a seamless cross-platform mobile app. To easily create functional pipelines, one that never mutates user data, we adopted Ramda, a library designed specifically for a functional programming style. To use state and other React features without writing a class component, React Hooks has been utilized.

For a straightforward navigation solution, with the ability to present common stack navigation and tabbed navigation patterns on both Android and iOS, React Navigation has been chosen as the best option.

For all backend coding, this app uses Node.js, express, and passport.js. To store all the app’s data, we preferred MongoDB, a non-relational database. We set up the Continuous Integration and Delivery workflow with Amazon S3 and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.

To enable users to sign in with their Google or Facebook account, Google sign-in and Facebook API have been applied. Moreover, we selected the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow.

For adding optional types to JavaScript that support tools for large-scale JS apps, our team picked TypeScript. It should be noted that this language compiles to readable, standards-based JavaScript.

The client got the offline-first mobile solution that is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Development Process

The challenge was to develop a platform with high quality and in short terms. For these reasons, we have chosen to incorporate React Native as the main technology. Python has been used as a backend language. To efficiently offload data from the devices into the cloud, we have used MQTT, the standard messaging and data exchange protocol for the Internet of Things (IoT). For other requests, such as login, registration, creation and modification of rooms, rest endpoints have been utilized.

Result

As a result, we developed a system which allows smart home residents to control their appliances and monitor their use remotely. Also, we have created a system for flexible connection of devices based on the connection scheme received from the server. Users can automate household chores like laundry or door lock with just their smartphone. With smart сameras, they can control to control items around the house—from window shades to pet feeders—without ever having to get off a couch.

Besides, this solution allows office tenants to dramatically reduce decision-making time on changing building settings and ensure its high accuracy. It will lead to essential energy savings.

Our challenge was to create a unique turn-based game with customized gameplay. The main requirement was to use real historical maps as well as current ones. The customer wanted players to have an opportunity to choose the century and the country to rule. Selecting one of the strongest empires should make it easier to play while choosing a small country makes the game more difficult.

Development Process

The game was developed using Unity. To add a multiplayer feature and provide flexible matchmaking we used Photon. The realistic gaming experience is achieved using 3D graphics. All screens, elements, and characters have an individual design created from scratch.

The AR Fitting Room is a virtual fitting room which allows users to pick out clothing and try them all out virtually. This project is built on the most sophisticated technologies: augmented reality and Microsoft Kinect. Augmented reality enables the customers to select a piece of clothing without having to try it on physically.  As a customer, you see yourself on-screen with a 3D copy of a dress. Kinect is used to take a scan of a body then they can apply their choice of attire on a screen, letting them quickly check out how a piece of clothing looks on them.

Challenge

The challenge was to create a virtual fitting room that allows customers to see an accurate reflection of what a particular item will look like on them. The fitting room should run smoothly on desktop and be easily integrated with an AR-enabled mirror for an entirely new personalized shopping experience.

Development Process

We brainstormed different ways to solve each pain point and created a prototype application that runs on devices with a Kinect camera. This camera allows you to determine the human body and try on it a 3D model of the selected clothing. You can also take a photo of yourself while trying on and send it by QR code

UPMan is a single-player action game that is developing in the Unity engine for iOS and Android platforms. This project is a platform-adventure and RPG mixed mobile game with 2D/3D realistic graphics.

The main game character, a ten years old boy, suddenly wakes up in the centre of the destroyed and occupied city. He does not even know what to do, where to go and hide to get rid of enemies. He decides to get out of the city and starts running. Upman realized that the Earth was attacked. But he finds magic gloves which have very special magnetic and magical powers. Also, Upman will use a different type of weapons for every step. These weapons will be created by magic gloves.

Challenge

The challenge was to create an app that will let the users log in to any portal using secret codes entered into the application on their smartphones. The main client’s requirement was to provide as much safety and security as possible.

To solve the problem, we implemented several ways of code encryption before the user sees the code and after it was entered into the app. To improve the security of data exchange, we used a real-time connection model between the server and the client.

Development Process

We used Angular 8 and Angular Material to build a web application for authorization using the OAuth 2.0 Protocol, JSON Web Token, and the .NET platform. To provide real-time client-server communication, we used the SignalR library and WebSockets. We applied some encryption methods to provide maximum data reliability.

Result

We created a solution to let the users quickly and securely log in to any portal, while portal owners get detailed information about their visitors. As people are used to browsing the web via smartphones, the number of portals’ visitors increased by 21.5%.

The CRM also has an admin role. Administrators can manage business data (locations, subscription, other information). They have permissions to view reports and fill in information for Quote calculator within a specific chain of funeral homes. The website visitors got a user-friendly interface and a calculator to plan funeral expenses.

The application is a VR ECG simulator that helps with training and evaluation of medical personnel performing ECG procedures and ECG laboratory setup.

All room dimensions are as close as they can get to on-site ECG laboratories. The application consists of different training routines for the room setup and the performance of the ECG procedure itself. All routines and requirements for the exercises correspond to actual on-site conditions.

Any deviation from the process is tracked by the application and reported as metrics for further improvement.

The challenge was to create an iOS native dating app, a mobile version of Meets.com dating service.

This app allows signing up by typing in an email address and password. Users have accounts with editable information like bio, images, interests, age, sex, etc. They can upload and view photos, filter through profiles based on the same types of information, receive match recommendations, and flirt.

Geolocation feature help users to find partners using location and distance options. You get acquainted with people who are in a location close to you, and therefore you have all chances to transfer virtual flirting to a real date.

When a user receives a message or information about creating a new couple, he gets a push notification.

The challenge was to create an iOS and Android native cryptocurrency wallet in Etherium blockchain for managing token.

Creation of wallet app includes generation of 12-word mnemonic and derivation private key and address from it. A four-digit code is used for quick access to the account. The app includes the following:

The challenge was to create a medical app for patients to ask questions to physicians and share photos/videos with their problems.

CaptureProof empowers users with computer vision through the Smart Medical Camera, which shows more than the eye alone can see. AnatomyNext is a web-based augmented reality software for medical education and healthcare professionals. It is a highly technical and interactive tool to facilitate learning for beginning students and to serve as a comprehensive reference for experienced surgeons and other high-profile health care professionals. It aims to help medical persons save time and make the learning process more interactive.

Ludo King is a cross-platform game that supports Desktop, Android and iOS platforms at same time in online multiplayer mode.

Ludo traces its lineage back to 6th century India. Ludo is derived from the game Pachisi, but also reminds Snakes and Ladders.

The game is played between 2 to 4 players and you can play the game against the computer, against your friends, or even against people from around the world. The objective of the game is simple: you start on 1 and you have to be the first one to make it to 100. You can only move the same number of tiles as the number you roll on a die. The board is also littered with snakes and ladders. If you land on the same tile as the beginning of a ladder, then you can take the ladder as a shortcut and move on up. But, if you land on the mouth of a snake, then down you go to its tail.

Whoever gets all four tokens to the end first is the winner. However, each move can only be made based on the number decided by casting a six-sided die, and each token can only move out of their home by casting a six. Additionally, the competition factor of the game is upped by the fact that if another player’s token lands on the same square as your token, then your token will automatically be sent back home and you’ll need to roll a six again.

Our challenge was to develop an all-in-one fitness app to complement the training of fitness enthusiasts at any level.

All-in Fitness app analyses users’ fitness activity and measures their progress. Having analyzed the data, the digital trainer creates a plan to increase activity goals. The application trains the user like a personal coach would during running, jogging, power walking, and training programs. Besides their heart rate, All-in Fitness also records users’ run distance, time, number of stairs climbed and jogging pace.

Application’s fitness tracker is a simple way of turning smartphone into a wearable fitness gadget. It uses GPS to track users’ movements and then creates a neat, analytical data timeline, monitors users’ physical activity and keeps track of their cardio exercise statistics. We developed a solution to view a training script that created by a coach for such sports as football, hurling and Gaelic football. A coach places players’ figures on the field, creates animation of key frames and downloads it through 3D coach Frill Designer (PC, Mac OS). Therefore, team players can download created scripts on their iPhones and view it in 3D. A player can move camera whilst displaying scripts: veer project angle, move in and away from the object. Some scenarios can be downloaded as video on iPhone. This application is a part of a more prominent one, which includes:

StatDNA Company engaged in the analysis of sports videos. This program allows customers to upload to a server their training videos and administrators of the company to track the processing stage of these videos. I.e., the physical action of shooting (such as throwing a ball) en face and in profile is analyzed by StatDNA Company’s stuff. Further on the basis of measurements and calculations, they produce recommendations for improving the technique of the athlete and keep the data in the database. In the end, with the help of this tool a mini-portal is formed that displays summary information on the research of individual athletes or their group. On request of the customer program uses already existing database of his clients, which required working with the application programming interface (API) Infusionsoft, that was implemented successfully.

GolfUnity is a Golf Simulator with semi-realistic graphics. All simulators featured are very high-end and custom-designed to client’s requirements. With gamepad and multimedia projector, users have the opportunity to play golf from the comfort of their home all while having complete control over their experience.

We were challenged to create and fine-tune a swing mechanic that is more about feeling and fluidity than the users’ accuracy of hitting a marker on a power bar. While anyone will be able to pick up the controller and play comfortably, the best players on the global leaderboards will be those with the best feel for the different golf shots and who are able to take into account ball position, weather and terrain.

The application automatically identifies when the car starts moving, using a unique algorithm based on the 3G cellular network and your devices various sensors. It silences the tones of all types of messages (SMS, e-mail, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.). The message sender receives an automatic message: “Hi, I’m driving. If it’s urgent – please call.” The message text can be changed as desired. The application automatically identifies when the trip is over, and switches the phone back to regular function. An incoming message tone will be heard if any incoming messages were silenced. When the trip is over, the driver can send messages safely.

This mobile application developed by VironIT keeps some of your private data locked and unable to be viewed by unauthorized third parties. Modern tools and technologies used by our mobile development team enabled the app get connected through the cloud in terms of the data storage and provide the benefits of the access facilitation. Our mobile software engineers also provided Touch ID option to unlock the data, mostly for the folders with audio and video content and stuffed the app with the fake access mode that works through the fake password in which the encrypted folders are becoming invisible. Livia is a pharmaceutical application that enables customers to order over-the-counter medical drugs through a network of interconnected pharmacies in Kenya. The application comes in two versions, Livia for chemists and Livia Dawa meant for customers.

Our challenge was to develop a B2C healthcare application that operates like an online store with a delivery service. The project involved the creation of the following features:

Livia Dawa

Livia Dawa is designed to be simple to use for anyone with a smartphone. It is location-based almost in the same way as Uber and Pokémon Go are, where the user taps to find the nearest chemist within a 2-kilometer radius. All the user needs to do is to submit a request and nearby chemists will be able to give their quotations. The pharmacy that has the required drug available and at the most reasonable price will be selected. The medication can be purchased via M-Pesa or cash after the customer is notified that the order is ready to collect.

Application for pharmacies

Pharmacies can see all submitted prescriptions and requests for medicines through an application created for them. Here drugstores accept orders and confirm whether a specific medicine is available.

PHP server application

• Server application is the core of Livia service that provides a centralized platform necessary for all the client applications to function. Apart from that, the server application is used to administer application settings such as the delivery radius of every pharmacy.
