W3Care Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a leading web and mobile application development Company delivering services in more than 25 countries around the world.
It was founded in 2010 and, is a one-stop destination for all of your brand’s technology, design, and digital marketing solutions. At W3care, we are a team of experts(in what we do) who can offer Expression Engine, WordPress, Drupal, Craft, Joomla, Cake Php, Core Php, CodeIgniter, Android, iOS and on more technologies web and app development services.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?
I was working with a Multi-National company for the internet development industry. I belong from a business family and have some idea that I wanted to experiment and implement, so shared the idea with few of my friends and one of my best friends has not only appreciated this idea but he had encouraged me a lot. So I started to work on setting up an organization that can serve to the rapid and agile development needs of the clients. The primary objective of the company is to serve excellent quality of web and application designs and development at incredible prices. The company was started in 2010 and slowly and steadily it has made its mark in this modern competitive market.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have a highly experienced team of 50+ in-house professionals which includes Web Designers, Web Developers, Mobile App Developers, Quality Testers, Digital Marketers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and other support people to take care of each project. They all are experts in their own field and provide customized web and mobile solutions for all industries. We do not outsource because we have an in-house team for all the technologies we work on. We also invest in upgrading our staff’s skills so we are able to provide services as per the industry standards.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
We believe in client satisfaction and always do our best to provide services by keeping in mind client’s interest and usability of the application. With the help of our in-house team we are able to handle end to end digital requirements and always try our best to provide value addition in our services, in results our services are getting better day by day.

We are not limited to working with specific industries or sectors. We cater to a vast variety of industries and have worked a lot with Ecommerce & Shopping, Travel & Transportation, Healthcare, Real Estate & Property, Booking Engines, Social Networking, Media & Entertainment, Education & Training, Financial Services, Advertising & Publishing and a lot more. Yes, our clients are repetitive because they are satisfied with our professional services and affordable pricing model. Our clients like to work with us again because we take their business growth as our success.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
The time frame of building any website/mobile app or web app depends on the various factors. Requirement gathering is one of the crucial aspects of our projects. First, we analyse client’s requirement, Prepare scope of work document, functional points, user experience and client’s specification. We collect available information from clients, do brainstorm with our domain experts and prepare a requirement specification document. This helps us in the estimation of efforts, required team size, delivery time frame and the price as well. The time frame depends on the technology being used for the app, testing period and overall features of an app. Another parameter that involves in the time frame is third party integration in the app. So according to the number of app screens, its features and their complexity and processes we provide the estimation of the project duration.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
The development of a product is an everlasting process and it depends on what the client is looking for. Every web app is different in its nature and the front-end or back-end efforts depend on the requirements of app features, design, technology, third-party integration, complexity, and the changes requested by clients during the web app development process. The front-end takes around 35-45% of the total time frame and the rest is dedicated to the back-end development of a web application.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
Once we have clear understanding of the requirement then we gather what kind of platform would be best suited for the web application. By Keeping the goal / Objective of the application and client's preference we decide the platform / technology suitable for the application. Sometime budget and timelines also affect the ability to choose a particular platform. We work on 25+ platforms and we have inhouse team for the platform we work on, so we suggest best suitable technology / platform for the project. We are proud to share that we have successfully delivered more than 4000 web and mobile applications over the web. We work on platforms like Wordpress, Woocommerce, Magento, OpenCart, Shopify, ExpressionEngine, CraftCMS, Modx, Drupal, Joomla, NodeJs, AngularJs, ReactNative, Xamarin, IOS, Adroid, Symphony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Yii, MySQL, MondoDB, etc.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?
Again, choosing a technology and platform completely depends upon the client's requirement and objectives. We suggest technology based on the project requirement. Mostly we prefer OpenSource platforms like Wordpress, Laravel, Magento, Symphony, Android, IOS etc.
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We offer all kinds of website design & development services to our clients. We do work on ready-made website templates and customised websites as well, though depend upon the client’s needs. Even when we provide design template to clients, we try to make them unique, so they do not look like a template solution. Every business is unique and when we develop a web or mobile application, we make them reflect the same uniqueness in their application. Responsive web design is the most important and basic element in our design services. This means each of our project has to be this responsive implementation. We understand that on an average half of the traffic are coming through mobile or handheld devices so having a responsive design is a basic requirement nowadays and affects SERP as well. we understand that very well.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?
Choosing a content management system comes after the requirement gathering step. We suggest available options to client and based on their preference and suitability we decide the content management system together. We work on almost every popular Content Management systems. Yes, we work on Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and we have proficiency in other CMS like Magento, OpenCart, ExpressionEngine, Shopify, CraftCMS, etc.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes, we do offer post deployment maintenance services to our web and mobile applications. There are 2 types of maintenance services that we offer - A). Basic maintenance includes - keeping the application backed-up, secure and necessary patch implementation and some kind of updates. and B). Advance maintenance includes everything in option A and then keeping the website updated, keep them fresh by updating banners and theme. Regularly updating contents and design as per their need. Supporting the website users if they feel any difficulty in using the website or mobile application on their devices. For mobile application we keep them updated as per the new updates of the Android and IOS. Also, sometimes client ask us to include some other recurring works under regular maintenance we do them too. So, it’s 100% as per the client’s requirement.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
The cost of a web application is decided based on various factors - including Resources, effort required to build that app, Technology, additional hardware or software licenses needed, Third party dependency or any associated third party cost involved affects the final cost of the application.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We work on the following types of contract, and payment procedure is different for each type of contract:
Fix Cost –Here, we provide a fixed cost to the customer based on fixed scope. We work on prepaid payment model, means, whatever work is approved to schedule, customer needs to pay in advance and then we book the resource. If the project is of large size, we break the whole project in a few milestones. Before starting each milestone, customers pay us in advance for scheduling of particular milestone. This model is suggested when client’s requirement is fixed in nature.
Hourly –Here, we work on an hourly method, where whatever work we do, we run a time tracking tool, customers pay us for the time which is logged in the time tracking tool within a week. This is suggested for small amount of support work needed. Like SSL implementation, designing a banner, fixing a contact us form or attaching a google map to a page, etc.
Timesheet Based –Sometimes, when the scope of the project is not fixed, customers purchase some block of hours like 50 Hours/100 Hours, etc. We work on a given task as and when it is available from the client and provide weekly timesheets for consumed hours to the customer. When the advance paid block is about to get over, we intimate the client and the client again refills it.
Dedicated Hiring –Here, clients can hire particular resources in a dedicated manner for which customer pays us for hired hours in advance. Once the Hiring contract is about to get over, the customer gets it to renew by again paying for the next hiring. This model is suggested when client has regular flow for work for a few months could be on one or more project and work is not known in advance and variable in nature.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
For us, every client is important whether they have a work for $100 or $1,00,000. So, we don’t have minimum ticket size in terms of cost. If any project / task is within our expertise then we always take it up.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We have catered to projects as small as $100 and the biggest project we did in 2018 was of USD 60,000.
