Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
In most cases, we are proving time-frame which is achievable. The timeframe itself a big commitment company giving to a client. When we are trying to do something innovative, it will be challenging to provide exact timeline. There are many invisible factors that will affect the development process. Most important affecting factor is business logics. If there is an even minor gap between actual and developed business logic, it will be a big effect on the timeline. As an efficient solution provider, we spend more time in pre project proposal to understand customer need, providing solution and project planning scrum sprint wise which are highly effective to achieve client goal.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
It takes an appreciable span of time for a team to prepare a web app thoroughly. In majority of the application the backend will take more time to provide the strong Application with require modules, reports, contents easily accessible for our client. However, we can’t neglect the front end as it is the only visible part to the customer. In many applications Front end will take equal time as back-end. But we firmly believe back-end will take more time as it is foundation of application and everything lie’s their including business logic.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
Based on customer requirement, we will suggest different platform. Here are the Key parameters which we are considering for selecting right platform for web app:
• Business Needs
Before creating a web application, define your business needs. For instance, if your product is supposed to have a large audience, it has to be able to handle high loads processing numerous requests per second.
Taxi services, online booking platforms, social media apps, online stores are examples of those solutions that should ensure instant response to user requests (payments, messages, data search, etc.).
• Project type
Project type directly impacts the choice of the web technology stack. If your goal is to launch an e-commerce application, you can build it on top of a ready-made market platform like PHP-based Magento or plugin for WordPress such as WooCommerce.
To develop an Internet of Things solution that comprises sensors for collecting data and a web system for analysing it, you will have to connect an IoT platform, for instance, Microsoft Azure IoT Suite, AWS IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
In most cases, time-to-market is critical for start-ups. As competition in this segment is very high, the goal is to launch the app faster. If you have tight deadlines, choose technologies that provide out-of-the-box solutions and integration with third-party services.
The choice of technologies also directly affects the budget. Specialists that know complex and innovative technologies are more expensive compared to others. Project complexity always impacts the process of team assembling and therefore, the end price.
If you’re making a web application supposed to be extended in the future, take care of scalability. Try to take it into consideration in advance and choose technologies that enable developers to faster add new components and features, as well as process more client data when scaling the project.
Today, company especially focus on establishing digital trust. If your company operates with large amounts of data, you will need a safe place for storing it. Furthermore, it’s important to ensure secure information exchange and management. If your product is supposed to have customers from Europe, it has to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
So, choose the technology stack that contributes to improved security.
• Speed and Performance
• Ease of use with 3rd party integration
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in development of your web apps?
As I said in the previous answer we suggest technologies based on different key parameters.
We also suggest Python, Java, Flutter, Shopify and PHP-based technologies, i.e., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, WordPress, Magento, Drupal, Opencart based on project requirement.
Do you offer website design templates or customised website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We generally prefer the customized website design to make it unique. Although if the client likes to go with predefined template, then we will use it. In today’s, market more visitors are using mobile to visit a site so responsive design is must requirement for website.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal etc)?
It depends on customer requirement. We don’t generalize the technology as every technology has its own advantage and disadvantage. But based on market share, continues enhancement, Ease of use and release of updates we suggest WordPress.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
No work is small or large for our company. Yes, we are providing the website maintenance service. As many of our clients are repetitive and we don’t want them to go through a hurdle for finding a new partner for the maintenance.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
