I am the Founder and CEO at West Agile Labs, a premier web and mobile design and development company in San Francisco. I oversee the strategic direction of the company and drive long-term growth inline with our vision and mission.
West Agile Labs provides software design and development services to clients across the board, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. We have worked with 8 YC startups and 5 Fortune 500 brands. Our distributed team works with clients across the globe to engineer impactful, human-centric products.
What is the story behind starting this company?
We created West Agile Labs to build digital products. Our aim is to ensure the success of the product, and this drives our efforts and inspires our creativity.
Although generating a business/product idea is the founder’s forte, it takes real-world expertise to refine and complement it with customer-centric solutions and rapid delivery to scale fast. West Agile Labs partners with customers that align with our create, build, and scale philosophy, delivering solutions for both our customers and their end-users.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have an in-house team of 150+ developers and designers. All our projects are managed and delivered via our own team.

What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Our customers rate us as 4.7/5 on the satisfaction scale. Our clients receive a full roster comprising a development team; UI/UX designers; as well as product, project, and QA managers. We first create an idea and visualize it. We then maximize efficiency by following a fluid-agile process with strategic development cycles to ensure we deliver a quality product. We also provide a suite of support services that enable our clients’ products to scale into viable businesses.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We have a detailed analysis and feedback process at each stage of the project, to ensure all requirements are captured and implemented. Our development expertise is paired with a robust and comprehensive suite of support services post project delivery, to manage issues and changes post-launch.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We work on both a fixed cost and time and materials payment models. The payment milestones are split as per project deliverables and timeline. A project can be split into phases as per the customer’s requirements and will be billed accordingly.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We do not categorize and undertake projects solely on budget requirements, preferring to partner with our customers throughout their growth cycle. Our goal is to build long-term mutually beneficial relationships, thus we don’t work on a minimum budget.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
The range for projects in 2019 was a minimum of $20,000 and a maximum of $840,000.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
West Agile Labs will continue to push the envelope in terms of product-driven solutions, bringing about innovative solutions and sustainable digital transformation. We were early adopters of cutting edge technology like AI/Machine Learning, IoT, and VR for our solutions, and aim to leverage it to remain an end-to-end technology partner for our customers in the years to come.
