Grodas implements e-commerce solutions to help our clients realize their business ambitions. Software Engineers in our team are focused on developing custom product design for e-commerce, booking, and logistic industries. Also, we can set up a dedicated development team for small and medium businesses. Our experts can strengthen and support the internal team, and even develop the projects from scratch.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?
First of all, we are a group of developers united by the idea of developing modern and cutting edge products for our clients. We always strive to learn more and apply more software development patterns than ever before. This is the most interesting and challenging part of development that brings us together.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We work with an in-house business model. All developers in my team are working on-site and has successfully passed 2 rounds of interviews. During the first 3 months, all engineers are implementing internal projects of the company before joining the commercial ones. Also, we have a well-organized hiring process, due to this our HR department fills in an open vacancy in less than a month’s time.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our main expertise is e-commerce development services. We are focused on working with e-commerce. We always stay up-to-date with all changes in this industry and therefore, we can solve frequently encountered problems and find viable solutions.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
Generally, we cater to e-commerce, booking, and logistic. We strive for long-term cooperation with our customers. More than 70% of them work with us for 3+ years.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing software.
The most critical parameter is to be as detailed as possible in terms of technical requirements. Another key factor is how fast the client answers to additional questions and who is associated with the processes described in the technical specifications. Two more important points are desired project releases and allocated budget.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of software?
It’s hard to say because it depends on different factors including the type and complexity level of the project.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right framework for developing software?
Depending on the project stage, size and type, our specialists recommend to the clients the best technology stack and help them to set up the most efficient workflow.
Which languages & frameworks do you prefer to use in development of software?
Backend: Languages: PHP (Laravel, Yii, Symfony), NodeJS, Python
CMS: Shopify, Opencart, Wordpress
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of software?
Regarding the estimation, a lot of factors influence the final price and time. The detailed specification and user stories are very helpful in the first stage. Also, we always take into account deadlines and required team structure (CEO, CMO, business analyst, etc.)
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are working with Time and Material model and charge our clients per hour. We send them invoice twice per month. For new clients we usually ask for prepayment in the first week or two.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We prefer to work with projects that require more than 1 month of development.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
The price range of the projects that we have catered in 2018 ranged from $1500 to $70K.
