Icecube Digital is involved in providing them with technical support since January 2015 and takes care of minor issues like bug-fixing, maintenance and upgrading the website. The project is ongoing and the client uses Icecube’s services on and off. Icecube Digital handles the issues and fixes them at a time depending on the severity of the issue; the budget is also fixed in advance.

Objective & Scope
1. What was the objective of the project you did with Icecube Digital?
We had a lot of errors on our website but I am not technically capable of fixing that, so they fixed it for us. They did everything which was very technical and I can’t even explain it in detail. We needed someone to provide us with some maintenance and fixing services for our website and also implementing some new applications on the website.
2. What is the scope of the project? What all did Icecube Digital do for you?
They revamped, fixed and updated our old website along with introducing some new features and applications.
3. What was the estimated timeframe committed for the completion of the project?
It was approximately January 2015 that we started off working together. We actually hired them to provide us with technical support.
4. How much time did it actually take for completing the task?
This project is ongoing. There were all small issues and it really took only a couple of days. Anytime I had a problem, all they took was one or two days and in some cases, it was two hours, so there was nothing major to do for weeks. Anytime I want to upload some files in the right section where I can’t do much, I connect with them and they do it on the spot.
5. Please provide an approximate figure (in $) for the work done?
Basically, what I would do is, I would tell them about the work that needs to be done and I would ask them to cost us. They would give me the cost to implement and then we would agree on a price and I would pay them 50% upfront and the remaining once the work is complete. It could range in somewhere between one hundred to three hundred dollars.
6. Did they exceed the committed price point anytime and why?
Well, we have an arrangement for that. If they have a set fee, that is fairly fixed and if there are any issues after that, they have to re-fix the issues within the fixed price. But again, they were flexible and I was flexible so generally, we didn’t have any issues.
7. How did you come to know about Icecube Digital?
They were referred to me and I also put a request on one of the social media sites asking for a gentle help and their owner of the company responded to me there.
8. Why did you choose to partner with them?
From the conversation on the social media site and my friend’s recommendation, we decided to go with them. They were all very quick to respond to emails, so I liked that as well.
9. Did Icecube Digital evaluate your project scope and requirements correctly?
I have no issues as everything was done exactly the way I planned and agreed upon. Because of the time difference, most of the work was done when we were asleep so it saved us time as well.
10. Did the company deliver as per your expectations?
Absolutely yes, there were no problems in that.
11. Are you satisfied with the sales and customer support service?
I have no issues; I found them very good to deal with.
12. Is there anything that makes them stand out compared to other companies (core Strengths)?
Maybe they priced us competitively from the European point of view that’s why I stayed with them. The work was done quickly and to a very high standard; we have a very good understanding with them. They are very good in communication and good with the English language which is also important.
13. According to you, is there any area that you think they can improve upon?
I don’t really know. I have got no comments.
14. Did they offer any proactive consultative approach? (Technical advice, design changes etc.)
To be honest, no, as they really only did what I asked them to. They did not come forward with any suggestions to improve my website but if I would have asked, they probably would have. I didn’t ask, so they didn’t offer.
