“One thing I really liked about Pulilab was- I could assign them abstract tasks and they would be fulfilled.”- Technical & Creative Director, NulKommaFem ApS.
Project Summary

The client is Nulkommafem ApS that aims at building a solution to connect people and increase their involvement into projects that are related to them, like in building a new infrastructure. Pulilab was involved in building this project for them from the scratch.

The client is happy with the overall solution offered by Pulilab and recommends them often to colleagues.

Feedback Summary

1. Please describe your company.

The company is Nulkommafem, which offers a mobile-based solution by the name SMSCity, which is a tool that can be used to involve local people, where you ask people questions and get feedback from them on projects that affect their lives.

2. Please describe your Role and Responsibilities at this company.

I would describe myself as a self employeed media designer engineer. But in the context of SMSCity I work as a technical & creative director at Nulkommafem.

3. What was the objective of this project? What was the challenge you were trying to address?

The objective is to involve people. You could get feedback from people on the street people who generally don't go to those meetings that you call when you planned making a new infrastructure in your city or something like that. We actually discovered that it's more wanted as a tool for conferences. So, we ended up making a lot more conferences where people were talking about all sorts of things. It’s a powerful tool when you want to create wide dialogues.

4. Please describe the scope of work of Pulilab.

Pulilab made this system from the scratch. They handled the entire system from backend to frontend.

5. Can you provide an approximate dollar figure for the project.

I think somewhere around twenty-five to just over thirty thousand dollars. I'm not completely sure about that as I never really handled the money part.

6. When was the project completed/did they delivered on the said project timelines?

The project was started a little before I came into this equation. There was a version one done in 2012 and when I came onboard I suggested and everyone agreed that it should be made in a little bit more flexible way. It went live in the summer of 2013.

7. Did they deliver up to your expectations?

Yes, especially compared to the amount of time it took to make, yeah I would say I am satisfied.

8. Is there anything that makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

I was basically the project manager for the project. But the programmer handling this project was very good and independent. So, he handled the project nicely and made right solutions for us. We come from Denmark and the people working on this (Pulilab) are also from Denmark, so it's really nice to have someone you can talk to in Danish. Although, they all speak very fine English and so do we. I've heard from other people that they have had a lot of trouble with with working with foreign programmers, not being very independent and doing just exactly what they were told. One thing I really liked about Pulilab was- I could assign them abstract tasks and they would be fulfilled. And if I suggested something and it was a bad idea, I was been told that it was a bad idea and then they usually had a better solution for it. So, it was not just that they would say a yes sir to everything and then do whatever we say, they actually took a little bit of ownership to the project.

9. Is there any area that you think they can improve upon?

No, not really. I don’t have anything to complain about in that regard.

10. To sum up, we ask you to rate Pulilab on a scale of one to five, with five being the highest score.

A. How would you rate them in terms of Quality of work.

Somewhere between four to five.

B. In terms of Reliability.

 Five.

C. In terms of Ability.

I think again between four and a half to five.

D. For the Final score, out of five?

Four and a half.

E. Lastly, How likely are you to recommend Pulilab to a colleague, out of Five?

I already have done that, so I am very likely to recommend them.
