Review Summary

I installed this software specifically to help transfer very large 100 GB Final Cut Pro video files. The free trial had a 2 GB limit so I was not able to trial my use case with the free trial. I therefore purchased the lowest tier in order to test it out. To my shock Final Cut Pro package files a.k.a. bundles are completely unsupported and the transfer just sits there without starting. Naturally I therefore contacted the company via their PayPal email address to request a refund and confirm that I had uninstalled the software. I received no reply. I tried submitting a support case on their website but their website had an error. As a last resort I therefore opened a PayPal resolution case. I received many lengthy argumentative responses from what I assume was the owner of the company as to why I should have tried my file under the free trial. Unfortunately when I explained this was not possible as Final Cut files are larger down the free trial allows, I received yet more argumentative responses and excuses starting “You should’ve” this and “you should’ve” that. Nothing in their responses made any sense to my actual situation and my genuine use case. Simply, Binfer doesn’t work. And when it doesn’t work, don’t expect any cooperation from their support team, if you can get their attention without filing a claim against them that is. Yep, it’s one of “those” companies. Steer clear.
