As part of the PPM tools, Celoxis includes Advanced Scheduling, Gantt Charts, Risk Management, Time Tracking, Kanban Style Project Planning, Issue Tracking, and a first-of-its-kind client portal. Celoxis packs in the industry's most powerful Reporting and dashboard engine that allows our clients to slice, dice, and visualize the data per their requirements. The dashboards are 100% configurable. What was the objective behind coming up with this software?

The late 90s - Santa Clara, CA: A time synonymous with the dot-com boom and bust. It was a time when project management was considered a traditional discipline. As our founders, Nikhil & Ravindra, were exploring ideas, they said that most companies needed help with their project management initiatives and the existing technologies required to be more flexible and scalable to address the workplace's project management and collaboration challenges.

What is your customer satisfaction rate? What steps do you take to cater to your customer's needs and requirements?

We divide our customers into two categories. The first customer category is those who sign up for Celoxis to solve their tactical, short-term project management challenges. These customers typically sign up for 5-10 users with a monthly renewal option. The second set of customers is those that pick Celoxis as their strategic Portfolio and Project Management Solution.

We measure our customer satisfaction rate for this second set of customers. The CSAT rate for this set of customers is extremely high (in the low to mid-90s). We do the following to cater to our customer's needs.

  • Stable, High-Performing, Reliable Solution: We provide a stable, high-performing solution that performs effectively without downtime. This gives our customers high confidence in system reliability and availability. Our system availability is 99.9%.

  • Predictable System Behavior: Celoxis's behavior is highly predictable, with our customers experiencing no surprises. If a feature is described in our knowledge base in a particular manner, then there are extremely high chances of it behaving in that fashion when used by our customers.

  • 24x5 Support: We provide 24x5 support to our customers with early resolution of all the support tickets.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?

Celoxis' customers are either for Celoxis' SaaS-based offering (subscription-based) or for their on-premise deployment. Customer retention is one of the best measures of repetition. Most of our SaaS-based customers renew their subscriptions. Our average customer retention rate is close to 90%. The primary reasons that contribute to customer retention are Stable, High-Performing, Reliable Solution, Predictable System Behavior and 24x5 Support. Most of Celoxis' customers are for its SaaS-based offering that is subscription-based. All our subscription-based customers will renew their subscriptions, thereby being recurring.

Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what material is delivered to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?

Celoxis publishes a Knowledge Base with articles and expert white papers on Portfolio and Project Management. The knowledge base also acts as a user guide for our customers. This knowledge base is updated with every release of the software.

Additionally, Celoxis also provides Training services for our customers, including virtual and classroom sessions. Product training is taken up by our customers either during the implementation phase or later as a refresher course for some new employees who may have joined the customer organization.

What support system do you offer your clients to cater to their queries and issues?

We provide 24x5 support to our customers. Support consists of the customer's ability to log tickets/issues/feature requests in Celoxis' support management system. Besides this, Celoxis provides Chat, Voice & e-Mail based support for our customers.

Where do you see your product in the next ten years?

Working on Celoxis was fairly simple, even at first. I had no problems getting a grip on this one. In comparison to other Project Management tools that take time to grow on you, Celoxis was our favorite from the start. It reduced the number of tools we were using to just one. Previously, we used different applications for collaboration, documentation, budget tracking, and planning, and paid separately for each, which was inconvenient; with celoxis, everything switched to a single platform, simplifying the project.

The highly recommended dashboard with different views. There are various data you can add to your dashboard, projects, reports, etc. to tailor your view to what values most to you. Time tracking is very simple. It would be great if the timesheet automatically saved like everything else on the platform. It is annoying when you follow your time for the day, edit one area, and then delete all of your content because you didn’t save it before editing. Time tracking is very smooth.
