Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Inventory management is all about ‘Visibility’, And at CyberStockroom we figured out that visibility means being able to know exactly WHERE your inventory is. It’s not just about products and quantities but also about LOCATIONS. That’s why we give our customers the tools they need to build visual representations of their business and to use this ‘Map’ as a dashboard for performing intuitive inventory operations like dragging and dropping items between locations or zooming in to sub-locations to view and edit products and to perform quick cycle counts.

As our company grows and expands, my own role has shifted from managing the day-to-day operations to managing relationships with key partners like Lansweeper (IT Asset discovery) and various EMS and hospital departments across Canada and the United States.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
The goal was to give businesses a quick-to-deploy inventory solution that is intuitive for the layperson to understand. Our software is very visual and user-friendly and requires very little technical expertise. One important objective was to provide a fully ‘online’ solution to inventory as opposed to the older on-premise systems. This means not having to buy and maintain any physical hardware or software on-premise but still being able to use tools like barcode scanners and printers.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Our software is big on the idea of ‘Visibility’. We define this with simple question: HOW MANY of WHAT do I have WHERE? The key to answering this question is being able to see exactly where everything is all the time. This is almost impossible to do effectively with the traditional spreadsheet-based systems. Our mapping features allow users to answer this question quickly and effectively. Customers who implement our inventory software report a significant financial gain due to the recovery of lost inventory. The exact size of this financial gain depends on the industry and the size of the company.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
Although our software has applicability in almost every industry we focus on IT asset management, manufacturing equipment management, as well as emergency response and healthcare (EMS/Ambulance/Fire/Police/Hospitals).
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
The primary differentiator of CyberStockroom is the visual Map. Instead of managing inventory items on a ‘spreadsheet-based system, items are managed visually on a map dashboard that represents the business. The customer builds their respective map and includes as many or as few locations and sub-locations as they needed. Once the map is set up it becomes the primary starting point for almost all day-to-day inventory operations.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We work very hard to make sure that our customers get the most value out of our software. We often have engaging discussions with them to figure out exactly the best way to implement and streamline their inventory processes. Because we put a big emphasis on helping them save money and time, our customer satisfaction rate is very high. In SaaS terms, we have very low churn and high retention. Our key customers have been with us for years and continue to use our software on a daily basis.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Our business is based on a subscription model, and this means that almost all our customers are repeat customers. They renew their subscriptions monthly or annually. Most of the customers who have signed up with us years ago are still with us today.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We have a detailed knowledge base with help articles to guide our users so they can get the most out of our software. CyberStockroom is designed to be very intuitive and most of our users don’t need to refer to any of these articles, but it can often help to read up on best practices and to see how other people are using the software. We also provide videos, whitepapers, and case studies so that our customers have all the resources they need to succeed.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Besides the resources mentioned above, we provide responsive email support for all our users and we strive to be able to address any query within one day. In addition, we also offer discovery calls and demos for more involved conversations to help businesses get set up and get the most out of our software. We also offer services to help onboard our customers like uploading existing data or configuring user accounts.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
One key for us in the coming years is going to be to expand the reach of our technology by partnering with key companies across different industries. We already began this process with our recent integration with Lansweeper. IT asset management (ITAM) is an especially important application for us and our customers and by partnering with the industry leader in IT Asset Discovery, we were able to significantly improve the relevance of our offering.

In addition to partnering opportunities, we will continue to improve and refine our product and to fully implement our vision for total inventory visibility.
