Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
PushFar is the world’s leading mentoring platform, helping both individuals and organizations with all things mentoring – from finding mentors and mentees, to running large-scale mentoring programs. We work with hundreds of organizations, from large multinationals such as Sodexo, Savills, and UiPath, through to startups, government bodies, and educational institutions. As one of the co-founders and the CEO, my role encompasses a number of things, including management of the whole team, customer success, sales. and marketing.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
There were two. The first was a personal objective – to help individuals find a mentor or mentee, more easily. I was looking for a mentor myself a few years ago and struggled to find one. The second objective is to help organizations to run large-scale mentoring programs for their employees, without spreadsheets flying all over the place.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
We differentiate ourselves in a number of ways. First and foremost, we are the only provider offering both internal and external mentoring solutions. So, if you’re concerned you may not have enough mentors internally, that’s where our external network supports you. In addition to this, we have a wide variety of flexible configuration settings for our customers to quickly and easily make changes to the platform as they scale and grow. We know that it can be frustrating having to ask an account manager to make changes and with PushFar, whilst every client has that account manager there to support them, they have their own configuration and settings panel to instantly make any change they wish to.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
We’re very much industry ‘agnostic’. We have a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors, globally. Generally speaking, any organization with 50 or more employees. Because mentoring is all about people and every organization has people, that allows us to be everywhere.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
The first is the ease of use. We’ve won awards in both 2020 and 2021 for our ease of use on the platform. It’s intuitive, simple, and clean. We focus on getting people into and helping them to manage mentoring relationships without overcomplicating things.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We know from regular surveys that 86% of mentors and mentees using our platform feel that mentoring with us is helping them to reach their goals. We make sure to support both our customers and their own mentors and mentees with a wealth of resources, including monthly mentoring training, dedicated account managers, and 24/7 tech support.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
They are true. We have a 100% renewal rate at present, which we’re extremely proud of. Generally mentoring lasts for a long time and having the support of PushFar proves invaluable to our customers.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We certainly do. Our platform itself has over 100 resources and guides available, and a 24-part video series on mentoring training. These guides and resources vary from basic mentoring and platform guidelines to more niche and specialized topics and focus around mentoring, such as mentoring focused on inclusion and senior leadership. In addition to the materials supplied, we run monthly mentoring training free for all of our clients and their participants to access.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We have dedicated account managers to support with any setup, ongoing, and engagement queries, requests, or issues, should they arise. Our account managers regularly host dedicated webinars too, going over new features and functionality on the platform. In addition to this, we have 24/7 tech support, via email and ticketing systems.
What has been the revenue for your product for 2021?
Whilst we can’t disclose revenue we can confirm we’re in profit and grew by 149% in 2021, surpassing our target set.
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
We’re always looking at how mentoring evolves and changes and it’s really exciting to see these trends through our platform. We’re hoping in 10 years to have over 25 million people engaged with mentoring, both on an individual and organization level. Our product will evolve to support this in the most efficient ways.
