Replicon, the Time Intelligence company, has over 25 years of industry leadership, pioneering new approaches to time, project, and resource management. Our Time Intelligence platform elevates time as a strategic asset within an organization, to improve operational productivity, performance, and profitability. Replicon offers award-winning cloud-based solutions for enterprise time management, global time and gross pay automation, and includes complete solution sets for project time tracking for costing and billing, time & attendance, and workforce management.

Built on the Time Intelligence Platform, Replicon’s innovative Polaris product line introduces the world’s first self-driving solutions for Professional Services Automation and Project Portfolio Management, helping project-driven enterprises deliver increased revenue and profitability. Replicon’s team of over 500 employees supports thousands of customers around the globe including PwC, Siemens, FedEx, NTT, Expedia, Moody’s, SAS, Facebook, and Hyatt.

I am Raj Narayanaswamy. I co-founded Replicon with my wife Lakshmi in 1996. As Co-founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer, I am responsible for executing the company's strategic goals and leading corporate initiatives. I’m an active member of the high-tech business community and take a visionary approach to build software that solve complex problems around time for global businesses.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
My wife and I were working for different software companies in the early 1990s in Calgary when we decided to build a product of our own. We founded Replicon in 1996 and it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. We were young and just decided to go do it.

We started Replicon with the goal of building a workflow application. We envisioned a general-purpose platform where end-users could build their own applications quickly. However, that idea did not span out and we began doing some consulting work to support our venture. At that time we were filling out timesheets in order to track time and bill our clients. Lakshmi recommended that we automate the timesheet process that we were doing for our consulting work because it was an annoying process. That was the genesis of the product you see today.

Our client service team ranks among the best in the industry - and far beyond providing excellent customer service, they currently play a critical role in our customer’s journey. The team excels in supporting our company’s processes, providing on-demand training to customers. They are the best client advocates anyone could ask for, by always putting customer needs first, building relationships, and working tirelessly on their behalf to ensure their success. During our recent internal survey, our customers rated us at 95% for overall customer Experience.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
We have a long-term partnerships with most of our customers and a few of our customers have stayed for over a decade. After experiencing our product’s powerful features and support from our team, most of our customers renew their contract with us and also purchase additional modules as their business grows. Our champions/influencers from customers often take us as preferred systems in their new organizations. We have a high rate of repeat business from customers.

We provide an in-app chat service which is embedded within our product. Which provides our customers with the easiest and quickest access to Replicon’s Support Team. As businesses continue to shape their strategies around digitization, leaders have become cognizant of how time can be a useful asset in shaping their journey ahead. 100% accurate time tracking is at the core of all transformation programs that will happen in the next decade.

A step in this direction is using AI/ML to provide accurate time insights in real-time which is important for making proactive decisions. Replicon will focus on designing and building tools and software that will enable businesses to harvest accurate employee time automatically to empower leaders to make data-driven decisions.
