Review Summary

We Superpixel use Revit. The best architectural CAD software is Autodesk Revit. With Revit, architects and designers can create accurate 3D models with detailed information about the building’s components, including floor plans, wall sections, elevations, and other components. Revit also provides a library of predefined components and materials, making it easy to work with existing designs. Additionally, Revit offers a host of features, including automated documentation, clash detection, and automated quantity takeoffs.

Review Summary

We Altana A/S have used various CAD software in my career, such as Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. These days, in Altana, our main CAD software is Revit. We have 3 full-time people tasked with drafting and designing our balcony projects as well as dealing with municipalities, clients, and counselors, and one draftsman specialized in construction who mainly collaborates with engineers on one side and builders in the field as they discover obstacles along the building process. I also use Revit now and again, and I believe that we have around 6 active Revit licenses that are used every day. While our specialty - installing balconies to existing buildings, isn't extremely demanding in terms of what CAD software we use, it makes sense for us to use Revit, which is really the industry standard these days.
