My name is Dmitry Kudrenko, and I am the founder and CEO of Stripo. I am a developer who runs four companies, and email marketing is my passion. This is why I like to introduce myself as a developer turned entrepreneur, but people often refer to me as a marketer. Oh, and I have been in the industry for over 15 years.
We started Stripo in 2017. Stripo simplifies the email creation process with its intuitive design, requiring no coding skills, making email building effortless and quick. It seamlessly integrates with over 80 platforms like Mailchimp and Active Campaign, and email clients like Gmail and Outlook, streamlining the email export process. Stripo is not only a tool that facilitates professional email crafting but also saves marketers valuable time for impactful marketing strategies.
Having been in email marketing for about 10 years by the time Stripo was launched, I gained considerable insight. One key challenge for email marketers is crafting HTML emails that render consistently across various clients and devices, a task that often requires coding skills many marketers lack. This dilemma led them to spend time learning coding rather than focusing on core marketing activities, which was a significant concern.
So, marketers were left with two options: either seek help from developers, which was inconvenient, or learn coding themselves.
At Stripo, we aimed to address this issue by enabling marketers to build flawless HTML emails that render as intended across platforms, freeing them to concentrate on marketing strategies and other essential tasks. Our first slogan was, “Build beautiful HTML emails fast without coding skills.”
In web development, the separation of design from data and logic enabled non-technical creators to design interactive, sophisticated content. Email development, however, lagged because many editors back then would add features such as email sending, personalization, and analytics to become an ESP, often at the expense of editor enhancements.
Addressing this shortfall, we developed an editor focused solely on easing professional email creation, requiring no technical skills and providing unmatched flexibility and feature integration.
Upon launching our editor, we recognized that our competition extended beyond other email editors to include ESPs, many of which had their own built-in editors. To differentiate ourselves and encourage users to choose our platform over their ESP's default editor, we knew we had to offer unique solutions to specific problems.
Our approach was as follows: creating emails with not just conventional drag-and-drop blocks but also with modular designs. Remember I said that in web development design and data were separated? This is what we did to our modular email architecture (aka modules). We managed to allow users to create content once and have the flexibility to change data without altering the design or vice versa — modify the design without impacting the data. This different approach to email creation was our vision from the start.
The answer to this question should be divided into two parts since Stripo is an online editor and also a plugin that allows users to integrate Stripo into custom business software solutions.
Let me talk about editor and plugin separately.

- WYSIWYG editor: WYSIWYG means “What You See Is What You Get.” Email content is displayed in the editor in a form as it would be viewed in subscribers’ inboxes. Users can edit mobile and desktop versions separately to tweak design according to their needs.
- Interactive module generator: A brand-new feature that allows users to generate interactive games (wheels of fortune, scratcher, questionnaires, etc.) without any knowledge of code through a convenient interface, after which they can be easily added to their email. Generator provides users with an AMP version of the game, an interactive HTML fallback version, and a text fallback for email clients that don't support any form of interactivity. So basically games built with our generator cover all possible email clients out there.
- Wide list of integrations: We've integrated with over 80 ESPs, including prominent names like Mailchimp, HubSpot, and email clients like Outlook and Gmail. With Stripo, users can effortlessly push emails to a chosen platform without worrying about code setup, thanks to our clean email code generation.
- Brand Guidelines Kit generator: With this feature, users can effortlessly build a brand book based on any templates of theirs to ensure brand consistency across all newsletters they create.
- Extensive collection of pre-built email templates: We offer users more than 1400 prebuilt email templates that cater to all industries and occasions.
- Email client preview: Our email testing tool allows previews across 90+ devices and major email clients.
- Bulk actions with templates and modules, such as copying, sharing, exporting, editing.
- Full-fledged plugin: Users can integrate Stripo into their custom business solutions and use all editor features within their workflow tool.
Each of these features is aimed at simplifying the life of an email marketer when creating emails for campaigns. And every time we think through new features, we ask ourselves the question — how will this simplify email creation for users?
Here are our statistics:
- Currently, our NPS is 9, which we are very proud of.
- Our uptime is 99.97%, demonstrating that we are always online and available to assist marketers in creating first-class emails.

These numbers indicate that we are achieving our goals. However, user recognition is the most reliable indicator for us. We are often mentioned and talked about at various marketing events, not as advertising but as a valuable recommendation. For us, this is a sign that we are on the right path.

GenAI has proven extremely helpful in email copywriting and email marketing. We are currently training it to automate email creation and conduct A/B tests, including generating ideas and briefs for the entire process.
Our second focus is on teamwork. We aim to simplify team collaboration, transforming the email editor into a collaborative workspace. This space will enable co-editing and commenting, ensuring that notifications and comments left by colleagues in the editor are visible in popular work messengers like Slack or Asana. This integration will streamline communication and enhance workflow efficiency.
In 10 years, I anticipate Stripo will become the standard for creating professional emails without technical knowledge, ensuring compatibility across different email clients, and constantly enhancing user experiences. This will allow marketers to prioritize message personalization over its technical implementation. Designers will no longer be bound by the persistent constraints set by developers, and developers will shift from puzzling over email coding to focusing on truly essential tasks like process automation, introducing new personalization techniques, analytics, and more.
The goal is to make communications via email creation as simple and efficient as possible. I'm confident that, as a result, the quality of emails in our inbox will significantly improve.

I need to build simple emails to reach out to contacts for our business, and Stripo is helping make that process a bit less complicated. I use another tool to send emails, and Stripo's builder is much simpler and easy to navigate.
What do you like the least about Stripo.email?
The only complaint I have is that there are a LOT of beautiful templates to choose from, but a lot of them require a paid subscription. Not something that would keep me from using it, though. It's a great tool!
