Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Wingmate is a B2B Software company primarily used by Field Service Companies. We help businesses grow by maximizing the people they already have in the field.
Our solutions include;
  1. In-field reporting app: Your in-field team uses our simple app to report leads in seconds. From new sales opportunities to up-sell, cross-sell, service deficiencies, and customer feedback.
  2. Simple CRM: Leads are tracked and managed in a Simple CRM Dashboard, where your sales team can stay organized and communicate in real-time.
  3. Inside Sales Support: As a bonus, our pipeline managers can qualify leads and set appointments for your salespeople on behalf as they come in from the field.
I have been with the company since the beginning. Starting out with a very simple mobile application, I have grown our solution into a full CRM. In the past 4 years, we have gained over 80- clients, ranging from large corporations to Small-medium-sized businesses.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
Our goal has always been to help service companies grow without having to reinvent the wheel. We find with many applications or consulting groups, many solutions involve a complete restructuring of a business. With Wingmate, we leverage the assets already part of the business (drivers, techs, RSRs, Couriers, CSRs) and give them the tools they need to succeed. We built our solution customized for individuals on the move. Our app is simple and couldn’t be easier to use, where a lead is captured in less than 10-seconds on the go. We are here to help every business grow and optimize their service by connecting their entire team, simply.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Compared to our competitors, Wingmate can’t get any simpler. From both a Lead Capture/Field service application & a Simple CRM, our unique solutions are affordable, easy-to-use, and help businesses save time. Competitive on price, integrations, and start-up timeline, Wingmate’s team is very hands-on and customized to the needs of every individual business. We have found that our solutions are valued based on new business opportunities that are captured using our app, as well as our team qualifying those leads. We offer a very affordable and easy-to-use application to grow your business without a single new hire.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
We primarily work with service companies, mainly those with field staff (team on the move). Our Mobile Reporting App has been most utilized by service companies leveraging their field staff on the move, constantly passing new opportunities & directly in contact with current customers to solve any service issues. These industries include; Environmental/Site Services, Contractor/Landscaping, HVAC/Plumbing/Mechanical, Courier/Logistics/Delivery, Telecom/Security, Food/Restaurant, Property & Facility Management, Government Regulatory, Document/ IT Management/Office Supply, Fuel, and Laundry/Linen & Chemicals.

We have found that both small-medium-sized businesses and larger corporations have utilized the value of our solution similarly. We’d say larger companies find greater value in our intel-reporting app, where smaller businesses utilize both our App and Simple CRM System, simply due to the size of the workforce.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
  • Simplicity: It sounds obvious, but every one of our clients loves how simple our app is to use. Quite literally, these drivers and field staff just have to snap a picture, and their sales team can follow up. Many of our clients have never found an application that works this well for them.
  • Specification: We cater our offering to whatever your business needs. If you need specific functionality, we can have our techs build it in. 
  • Price: We cater our pricing based on a businesses’ operation, users, sales staff, and so on. Wingmate is very hands-on and catered to your specific needs. You won’t find another Field Service app or Simple CRM for the same price that delivers this value. We constantly direct our potential customers to our ROI Calculator, where we show the potential of connecting your field staff to your office team. 
  • Integrations: We have built out our solutions to integrate with over 200 other systems. Our offering is really built a-la-carte, where clients can choose which solutions they want and can mix and match with other companies that fit their needs. Wingmate will integrate seamlessly and our team can get you up and running that very day. 
  • Two-Way Communication: The Wingmate solutions connect your staff like nothing else. Sales and operations can easily communicate in real-time and hold each other accountable. Immediately, send back intel, and receive updates on how that lead was qualified or how the service issue was solved.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We are constantly working with our current customers to improve our offering. This isn’t really the type of solution that experiences separation from the seller and user. We are constantly working with these businesses to optimize their team and use Wingmate to grow & improve their business. We have weekly calls with our clients based on what intel was sent in and how it was actioned. If anything hasn’t been resolved, a member of our team will contact the party responsible.

We also send out monthly review questionnaires, containing satisfaction ratings, product update recommendations, and any other requested information. Many of our clients have reviewed our product directly on the App Store or on Google Play, as well as Capterra and other software review platforms.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Wingmate is a Saas modeled company. All of our clients repeat their subscriptions every month based on their number of users or plans. We have only had a very small amount of customers cancel their subscriptions, and those were based on Mergers or Buyouts from larger enterprises that already used an internal CRM/Field Service application. Based on the past 6-months, 6% of our current customers are new. However, based on our low turnover and our large customer base, this number will never be much higher than 20% of our entire customer base.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
Yes! Wingmate has an entire Customer Experiences page with over 10 video interviews and over 30 case studies for review. We also provide detailed breakdowns and uses of each solution here; Intel Reporting App, Simple CRM & Lead Tracking Dashboard, and Inside Sales Support. We also provide interested users with a breakdown of how Wingmate is used, our value, as well as different user groups within their business.  We offer free demos and consultations for any businesses interested in hearing how they can grow using Wingmate.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
24-hour support through our website. If any issue comes up, one of our staff will handle the issue immediately. We don’t work with any third-party customer service companies overseas. All of our customer services are handled by our local team in Toronto, Canada. We also have several IT specialists that can customize our App and CRM to the individual needs of each company. We set up a full consultation meeting during implementation where your different user groups can add specifications and integrations.

Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
We’ve been growing exponentially for the past 5 years. Every client loves our solution, based on simplicity, price, and an overall culture shift connecting sales and operations. We have helped many companies grow tremendously even during the Covid-19 Shutdown, and continue to help over 12 industries optimize their teams in the field. I’d say in the next 10-years, Wingmate will be a leading Simple CRM solution and be the brand name for field service reporting applications. The sky is the limit and we’re just starting to take flight!
