Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
There are so many marketing consulting companies with the widest and brightest palette of services that one can imagine. They make digital marketing, event marketing, account-based marketing consulting, brochures, and branding-related stuff; that’s why Aim Plan Act is not doing all those things. We work with a network of perfectly skilled marketing companies, in case our customers need some of those services.
What we do looks rather like a service station for your marketing and your IT business in general. We gather and analyze all possible data to restart the marketing service of IT companies. We are so proud of our customers, of their wins and achievements! Sometimes we help IT outsourcing customers to start making marketing from a very early stage. My role is mostly inspirational for our customers and organizational for our small team.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Sometimes the story is so dramatically common, that is rather boring to read. My case exactly! After several other companies and a couple of decades in marketing and sales, I simply understood how to help IT businesses to stop struggles with marketing. I developed my methods during my own career and now those methods are essential for Aim Plan Act customers and their success.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have several business models which are related to our quite unique service offering. We can work as top-marketers in a company, we can substitute CMO’s and we can coach the marketing team, using many interesting techniques, workshops, puzzles, etc. The case is we are taking only C-level functions, till our customer is not getting the in-house CMO hired with our help, or, this is by far the most common option, we grow the CMO’s inside the organization.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
We provide only C-level and strategic functions for IT service and IT products companies. We dive very deep into customers' business, we add C-level experience and a data-driven approach. We can organize your marketing department, develop all related processes, teach your professionals and grow the one that can lead your organization forward.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We work only with IT services, IT outsourcing services, and IT products companies. All our methods are developed specifically for the needs of those industries. We are a young company, only 3 years old, but we really do have repetitive customers and customers which are with us since day 1. When thinking about the ratio, looks like we have 1/3 of new customers, 1/3 of repetitive, and 1/3 of long-term customers.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
We have 2 most popular offers - marketing team audit and coaching and CMO as a service. CMO as a service becomes more popular, as the market experiences the real boom of IT outsourcing and IT products.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
I’ll try to be modest, somewhere between 4.5 and 5 out of 5, where 5 is the highest possible mark. We have a flexible and emphatic approach to customers' needs, thus we achieve this high success rate.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
There is no special system, only constant conversation, and cooperation. Marketing issues rarely get that urgent, to develop a system or to establish a call center, for example.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Pay per hour and pay per activity (workshops).
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
AimPlanAct service is rather flexible in terms of budget. The minimal contract was around 7 000 USD in 2020.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
AimPlanAct maximal contract was around 85 K USD and minimal around 7 K USD.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
