Alphabet Productions

Alphabet Productions is a bilingual English and Japanese film, video and photography production company based in Tokyo, Japan. Founded by an Australian and British team with over 30 years of experience, we produce corporate videos, TV commercials, brand films, documentaries and commercial photography for international brands, advertising agencies and production companies.

Corporate video is a large part of our work: CEO and executive interviews, customer stories, testimonial videos and recruitment films, filmed in English or Japanese and delivered with subtitles, voiceover or dubbing. We also produce documentaries in Japan from concept to final edit.

For overseas productions shooting in Japan, we provide production services and production support: line production, fixers, location scouting, casting, equipment, bilingual crews, filming permits and drone operations. Our team covers all of Japan, from Tokyo to Kyoto, Osaka, Hokkaido, Okinawa and beyond.

Clients we have worked with include Microsoft, Meta, KPMG, Hilton, Manchester City FC, BVLGARI, BMW Japan, UFC, Netflix, BBC StoryWorks, GQ, Shiseido, Fujifilm, Samsung, Adidas and Rakuten.
