Brightbox

Brightbox has its roots back in 2005, hosting Ruby on Rails apps on dedicated hardware. In 2007 we switched to providing virtualized services using Xen technology.

Firmly focused on Rails deployment, we grew rapidly in popularity, hosting fully managed apps for large companies such as Amnesty International, Channel4, MTV and many more.

In 2010, we began work on a whole new platform built from the ground up. After almost 18 months of development, Brightbox Cloud was launched in September 2011.
