Travellers have stopped searching and started asking. When someone asks an AI model where to stay, it names three or four hotels, and there is no page two.

We measure how often hotel properties are named, cited or recommended in AI-generated answers. We call the metric Share of Model: measured per property, per engine, against five named competitors, on a locked 25-query set, reported monthly.

Improvement work sits under five components: Crawlability, Identity, Trust, Expression, Distribution. Roughly 84% of AI citations come from earned media rather than a brand's own website, which is why a redesign does not move the number.
