Editvideo.io started in 2019 out of a simple frustration, our founder couldn't find reliable video editors at volume for his own content, so he built the service he actually needed. What began as a small operation has grown into a team of 45 dedicated editors serving over 1,800 creators and brands, but the model has stayed the same from day one, every client gets one dedicated human editor who learns their brand, their tone, and their footage habits, not a rotating pool or a ticket-based agency queue. We built our own AI tools internally, including a Premiere Pro extension for automated motion graphics and a quality control system that flags errors in minutes instead of hours, but the goal was never to replace editors, it was to give them back their time. We recently ran an independent 315-person study testing whether viewers could actually tell an AI-edited video from a human-edited one, and published the full results, including the parts that didn't flatter us, because we believe in proving our claims rather than just making them.
