Our engagement with Indium Software has been highly satisfactory. We initially approached them to take over and complete a billing module that another vendor had started. The objective was to improve the efficiency of our real estate tax billing system. Indium Software has since provided fixed-price development, utilizing PostgreSQL, HTML, and Java. The new solution, which is now implemented, has become increasingly sophisticated over time. It not only streamlines billing but also automates the saving and emailing of information to relevant parties. The system features enhanced tracking and reporting functionalities, making it far more detailed and efficient than our legacy system. This improvement is expected to significantly reduce our billing turnaround time. Communication with Indium Software has been excellent. They set us up on Jira, which has been effective in managing the project. Despite temporarily losing a programmer due to family issues, they promptly brought her back upon our request, demonstrating their commitment to our project. They have been consistent, communicative, and efficient, reducing the number of calls needed each week. Our point of contact has been Satish Pala, Senior Vice President, whom my brother, serving as our consultant, had worked with previously at HP. Indium Software responded to our RFP along with other companies, but their proposal stood out. Satish’s intelligence and his ability to grasp the complexities of our property tax system have been particularly impressive.
