He is a graduate of the the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, where he received the Kodak-Award for Newcomer-Photographers in 1998. He has worked internationally in numerous photographic fields. This included a 2 year period of residence in Barcelona, Spain, where he worked as an assistant to Spanish photographer Paco Gaya and started working on assignments for German magazines. His work ranges between architectural - and people photography. He pursues personal projects as well as commercial work. The commissioned work includes real estate photography, corporate photography, advertising campaigns and editorial publications.
