The company originally consisted of seven brokers and three assistants. One of its first projects was a 175,000 square foot development consulting assignment with Union Switch & Signal for its new Engineering and Technology Center on Second Avenue in Pittsburgh.

This project, the largest commercial lease signed in Western Pennsylvania in 1993, was the keystone in establishing Pennsylvania Commercial Real Estate, Inc. as a major force in Pittsburgh’s commercial and industrial real estate brokerage business. We remain the largest locally owned Pittsburgh brokerage company without a dedicated national affiliation other than SIOR.
