SCHMIDT PRODUCTIONS

Born and raised in Wyoming, Jonathan Schmidt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from the University of Wyoming. After graduation, Jonathan's first job was that of an Art Director where he gained experience producing graphics for print. Just a few years later, he moved West and has since been living and working in Seattle, Washington. His first role in Seattle included in-house product photography, brand management and art direction. A quick learner and hard worker, he advanced to overall company management and the title of COO. Having a desire to focus his efforts more on the creative side, he decided to pursue his passion for photography and open his own photography studio. For the past 7 years, Jonathan has been working as a free-lance commercial photographer. Recent clients include: University Village Mall, Moss Adams, Washington Athletic Club, the College of Idaho, Washington Bankers Associate and Schwartz Brothers Restaurants among others. Along with shooting in Seattle, Washington; photography projects have taken Jonathan as far north as Kodiak Island, Alaska; south down the West Coast shooting in Oregon and California; as well as the Western US states of Idaho, South Dakota and Nevada.
